Tres bon acceuil, la chambre est propre et spacieuse, idealement situe a cote du metro et du tram,les produits du petit dejeuner sont divers et suffisants,si un progres devrait etre fait il concerne l'insonnorisation des chambres, la notre donnait sur le rue et pour les gens avec un sommeil leger cela pose un probleme, de meme notre chambre donnait directement sur la salle du petit dejeuner donc reveil obligatoire a 7h00

Dissapointment

just after landing, being in front of the Butterfly Home, I received information that we got accommodation in different part of city...what occured later in really dissapointing conditions. we were not even proposed any compensation...The room was smelling cigarette smoke, there was mole on the walls in bathroom...as on the pictures. The owner is very very kind person, however the conditions are extremely different from those which we reserved...as an allergic we had to move after one night an look for another hotel...

ButterFly Home is a great place ......

Great place, highly recommended, owner very attentive, be sure to read your welcome email if arriving later in the day to get entry info, bldg not readily recognizeable, it is near the Salad Box, we think the BigBus hop-onoff tour bus may be better option, love the place ......

An ok stay

The butterfly home was nice enough. It was close to a lot, so walking everywhete was not a problem. We arrived after nine in the evening, so there was no one in the reception, but the cabdriver we had booked via the hotel let us in. We missed information in our room of how to use the codes and key (four doors and gates to get through). And they have a way to go when it comes to cleaning the rooms, did not feel like it had been cleaned good enough. Also there was a lot of noise coming from the pipes. But other than that it was nice. The staff was super nice and helpful, they gave great tips of how to get around and what to see. The breakfast was good enough. It is a cheap stay, so i felt we got what we paid for. Would recommend if you want a cheap stay!

Super adresse. Andras est tres accueillant et de bon conseil. Il parle francais et anglais. Notre chambre etait tres bien equipee et spatieuse. C est un b&b : ça rend l ensemble très convivial. Il y a une terrasse couverte commune agréable pour flaner et dejeuner. Tout est fait pour qu on s y sentz bien. Le b&b est très bizn placé face au pont, au marché et à deux pas des restos et hyper centre

Fick en lägenhet på annan ort! Nyckel saknades när jag kom fram! Fick vänta 01:30 på natten så att det kom nån och öppnade! Fick en nytt rum på annan ort som var ännu sämre! Kommer att begära en återbetalning, då jag fick boka ett annat hotell!!! Fick plats på Bohemart hotell!!! Billigare & 100 gr bättre!!!

Andras the host was always accessible and extremely helpful in all matters. Not to mention quite funny. His English is excellent. Facilities were fantastic — extremely clean. All furniture appeared to be brand new and plenty of room for storage. Also, a ton of electrical outlets. The breakfast spread was incredible. HIGHLY recommend staying at Butterfly Home. The location couldn’t have been better! Literally across the street from the Danube and Liberty Bridge. 5/5 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Deception and misrepresentation

When we checked into Butterfly Home in the early evening we met one of the workers at the entry gate and he led us to a large room with my name written in chalk on the door. At no point did he inform us that we were in an upgraded room or that we would have to pay more for the room as we had paid for three nights in the standard room. The next morning we met with the main owner (Andras I believe?) and he informed us that we had come to the wrong property even though it was the address listed on the hotels.com reservation. He also mentioned this had been an ongoing problem. He told us that it was a more expensive room and we needed to move to another room in the same building, which we did. Imagine our surprise when we were charged an extra $154 on top of our 3 nights booking fee! If we had been directed to the proper location or proper room when we first arrived, this would have been acceptable. However, directing us to an upgraded room without telling us until the next morning is completely ridiculous and unacceptable. Why was our name written in chalk on the door? Why did the first person who met us not tell us that we had to pay extra money for the room? We tried to settle this issue through hotels.com but were told that the owners were firm in their decision. We believe they should not do their business in this dishonest way because other people who try to book this place through hotels.com might go through the same problems as we did. We feel we were scammed.

Var inte säker på vart vi skulle hamna när vi bokade detta B&B. Men allt löste sig när András som äger stället svarade oss direkt på sms när vi hade en fråga. Vi fick ett snyggt rum med ett härligt badrum väldigt centralt. Skulle rekommendera detta ställe varmt. Tack András för alla tips och hjälp med biljetter till Gellerts! Thank you András for all the tips and help with the tickets to Gellerts. Leffe&Towe.

Café da manhã espetacular, com variedade de queijos, frios, pães, iogurtes, fruras e doces. Quarto com um bom espaço, banheiro grande, com ótimo chuveiro. O único problema é o aquecedor de agua, que fica no banheiro e parece servir outros banheiros. Fiquei no quarto 5.

Betrug! Falls Ihr Euch Euren Budapest Urlaub so richtig verübeln wollt, bucht dieses B&B. Am Anreisetag gab es spontan um 18 Uhr eine Nachricht, daß das gebuchte Zimmer wegen Elektroproblemen nicht verfügbar ist. Stattdessen wird man in ein Appartement in einem anderen Stadtteil gekarrt. Gefühltes 60er Jahre Ostblockflair, durchgejegene Matratzen, kein frisches Bettzeug ... am nächsten Morgen geht's zum richtigen B&B zum 'Frühstuck' in einer Art WG. Das Zimmer ist noch nicht bereit, aber vielleicht nachmittags?? Wer weiß das schon so genau. Der versprochene Donaublick für 40€ / Nacht extra? Nicht vorhanden... Der arme Kerl vor Ort muss alles alleine regeln, vom Inhaber keine Spur... Wir haben dann einen Schlussstrich gezogen und vorgeschlagen, das ganze Elend abzubrechen. Folgende Abmachung: wir gehen einfach, keine Zahlung für die 1. Horrornacht, dafür gibt es von uns keine negativen Bewertungen. So weit so gut? Mitnichten, uns wurde der gesamte Betrag für geplante 4 Nächte von der Kreditkarte abgebucht. Auf meine Anfragen, daß es sich doch hoffentlich nur um ein Missverständnis handelt, keine Reaktion. Bucht niemals dieses schreckliche B&B !!!

At a B&B which room matters

Butterfly Pent house has 3 rooms. #1 is very good and on the level with the lift and very nice breakfast area and lounge #2&3 require going up a narrow spiral staircase #2 is large and has a modern bathroom. (Tub ok, shower not working) AC and WIFI worked. #3 a rolling disaster. Bath is very tiny, shower is an add on, in the sleeping area. AC inadequate plus they could not figure out how to turn off heater. WiFi didn’t work, the patio was dismal, actually a low roof top with no breeze. The folks are really great. Eventually we moved out of 3 to 2. Breakfast was fine, with eggs to order. The young woman our first day was very helpful with directions. If I never saw room 3 my rating would be higher
