Hibiscus Lakeside Motel was a nice stopover for our holiday travel. The rooms were comfortable, practical and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Shops and parks not far away and the location was relatively quiet.

Overall the hotel was a good place to reside for a couple of nights.The room was spacious and very clean.The bed was very comfortable.It was just a few minutes walk to the restaurants.Also it had a seemingly unlimited walking path alongside the lake which I found very pleasant.The only flaw was the shower door which allowed water to escape on the bathroom floor when taking a shower.Overall I would recommend to people as a great reasonably priced motel to stay a few nights.

Overall this is a very run down property externally / photos are decieving . When showering water leaked out onto bathroom floor so stood on wet mat.The kitchette area was tiny just outside the bathroom. Room looked like it wasfreshly painted but rushed with paint on the bathroom windows and marks on the walls. It was very disappointing as l went by the reviews and ended up cancelling the next room booked at this property and rebooked elsewhere.

was a nice stay until....

no complaints with the room, location or check in. but staff need to please be aware of large Families checking in & where you locate them, you had them at opposite ends of the Motel & everyone in between had to put up with their noise going back & forward, I had kids banging on both my doors several times wanting in, NOT HAPPY, & other guests went out to avoid the noise. the rooms are not sound proof so it was not a relaxing night

The shower leaked onto the floor of the bathroom and then into the hallway. The toilet gurgled and nearly overflowed each time it was flushed and the shower head dripped most of the night.

Usually have not had a problem at this hotel but this morning I went to have a shower and there was no hot water and it was my first shower very disappointing when you pay over $100 and can’t have a warm shower.I should have asked for a free night.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating they are very pleasant however this place is very outdated and the kitchenette isn’t family friendly the only sink is the bathroom one so you have to do your dishes in the bathroom sink the area is lovely and the lake at the back is beautiful it’s a shame that the owners lack updating this place it has so much potential the fridge is very small & no hot plate only a microwave this place needs maintenance and an update bed wheel was broken and a brick was used to level it I expect more then this
