  • Elk Lodge is a stunning four-bedroom + bunk room, four-bathroom home with fantastic gathering spaces both inside and out. Enjoy beautiful views and sunshine from the sun deck above the dock or the dockside patio. For those who prefer shade, the large covered patio, located off of the great room, offers new comfortable seating and the perfect vantage point to watch the waterside activities. Elk Lodge was built with the rental market in mind and offers two primary suites and a large open-concept great room. The kids will love the large upstairs bunk/game room that sports four twin beds, a Ping-Pong table, and a large flatscreen TV. The covered boat lift (with a 6,000-lb. limit), dual jet ski lifts, and complimentary kayaks will ensure fun times on beautiful Lake LBJ!

    Please note: This home is not available for events, such as weddings, bachelor parties, prom or homecoming weekend parties, or senior graduation parties.

    Elk Lodge is located on the shores of the Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ. This area of the lake is great for floating, swimming, and boating!

    Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.

Great lake getaway

We rented this house to celebrate my son's 14th birthday. The house was beautiful and spacious. The outdoor area was perfect for visiting and enjoying the sunset. We brought 2 jet skis and the kids had lots of fun riding and jumping in the lake from the upper deck of the dock. Definitely recommend this home for a great getaway on the lake!

Spent a wonderful weekend making memories with family and friends. The weekend was full with ping pong games, stand up paddle boarding, and wake boarding with a rented boat with captain. Quiet morning coffee next to the calm water was a perfect balance! The home offered great places to gather inside and outside but was spacious enough for everyone to have their own place to retreat.

Great Place to Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elk Lodge. We had plenty of room. We enjoyed the large patio and used the grill multiple times. We had a blast fishing (catch and release). We enjoyed playing pool and ping pong as well. That was nice to have since it rained a little during our stay. Vacasa was very quick to respond when we had an issue figuring out the TV.

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Bedrooms were nice. The only problems were the street the house is in is very rough and difficult to access especially if you have a low car. The backyard is very steep.

Lake Treetop Getaway

We were a family of 13 enjoying this lovely lake house. Decor and furnishings were nice and all rooms spacious with plenty of room to spread out. The best views were on the porch with the beautiful trees on this property!! It was like being in a treehouse! The kids fished from the dock everyday and made good use of sun deck! Great spot on the lake with deep water in front with minimum traffic. We would highly recommend this rental as we would definitely rent again.

Great lake house

Overall great house and is recommended. The only reason we did not give a 5 star throughout was because the air conditioner was not working properly the first night. The property manager did not respond until the next morning, however when she did respond she was very courteous and got the issue fixed quickly. The place is beautiful and a great family vacation spot. I will warn however that even when the AC was fixed the loft remains warm.

Great home, great location, a little worn down

The house is great, the dock is great and the water is great. The only thing I would change is the state of the house. While it is clean, it is a little worn down. Loose door handle, scuffed walls, worn decking on the dock, loose trash in the yard. The patio chair cushions need love and the dock storage is very snakey. If they were to make these changes to match the premium price of this house it could be the best one on the lake

Boat dock paradise

The house was easy to find and wonderfully located close to our favorite wineries! We brought our boat and it stayed safely at the dock. We fished and caught plenty of catfish from the dock. The dock does need a good power wash, lots of bugs and spider webs. There aren’t any life jackets for the paddle boards and no paddles for the kayaks. We sure would have liked to use them! The inside of the house was very clean, and plenty of room for a large crowd! The kitchen sink definitely needs a new faucet and there is not a working ice maker. The master bed room was immaculate BUT the bed is much to be desired. It’s an old memory foam mattress that is overly worn to the center. It had been flipped to the underside and a hard seam around the whole thing stuck into you. No mattress cover and thin sheets. For a luxury home, a luxury bed would be expected. This alone will keep me from staying here again.

Great place to stay had plenty of space for all of us. Hosts where quick to response with any questions. Kitchen had a verity of cooking supplies. Over all a great place would definitely go back. Only issue was the road getting in. The road getting into the property was rough with pot holes and was half dirt. Kind of difficult for the small cars with us. So if you plan on pringing a boat dont drive it down the road because its a dead end with no where to turn around. But other than that the stay was amazing and cant wait to return.

The HOT house

The AC barely works, trash in the yard, back porch and yard nasty and the dishes in the cabinets were caked with food! Overall the worst vacation rental we have ever rented!
