We had the most incredible holiday in Costa Rica and that was hugely due to the incredible staff at the Brasilito. The location was better than expected with parking on site, and right on the beach, and the staff in the hotel restaurant and bar was beyond perfect, so wonderfully friendly and efficient, we all became friends overnight!! And the food ….. wow, so so scrumptious, we actually ate there almost every night. We hope to visit Costa Rica again and will stay at hotel Brasilito, without a doubt. 😁😁

It was a nice budget place. Beds were pretty comfortable and AC worked well. Staff was very helpful when we needed to change rooms due to loud music being played directly behind our room. Pool was clean but a little overchlorinated. Hammocks were all wet and smelly. Need to be replaced or cleaned. We would probably come again though. Being right by the ocean and in walking distance from good eats was great You can even walk to Playa Con Chal or get a quad taxi.

Le ventilateur au plafond ne fonctionnait pas , pas de frigo dans la chambre, donc il fallait à chaque fois demander à La réception de me remplir ma bouteille d’eau froide ou chaude . La plage directement devant l’hôtel c’est playa Brasilito sable gris/noir . La belle plage qu’on voit dans l’annonce sur Expédia c’est la plage À CÔTÉ ( playa Conchal) où tout le monde va

Room and area around the hotel is always clean and maintained properly by staff. Especially Felix who is always around to help if needed. This is a rustic hotel and many locals from in and around Costa Rica come to visit and stay. It’s welcoming and comforting if that’s the vibe you are after. There are many noises. Roosters all day every day, doesn’t matter the time of day. Birds. And lots of them. Then you have the busy intersection, there are Sodas (local restaurants) in the area behind the hotel, and the gives a vibe of liveliness. Which I didn’t mind at all, it added to the experience of Pura Vida. The proximity to everything you need and want is within walking distance.

The hotel is connected to a really good restaurant that serves stellar food (breakfast, lunch, dinner - breakfast not included in the hotel price). The hotel is just a few steps from the brasilito beach. And it’s only a few minutes to walk to Playa Conchal, which is a way nicer beach than playa brasilito. Playa Conchal’s sand is made up of crushed seashells, which makes the water crystal clear blue. Well worth a visit! If you like snorkeling there’s also decent snorkeling at playa conchal. The staff at the hotel is awesome, always very happy and makes you feel very welcome. My favorite memory was to wake up early, before our kids woke up, and grab a coffee and enjoy the ocean view and take a walk on the beach. They have a nice (but small) pool, but since the hotel is right next to the beach we ended up spending all our days on the beach. The only minor complaint was that the room we stayed in was a bit small, so it made it hard to stay organized with suitcases for 4 people. But overall we had a fantastic time.

It is a budget hotel with everything you need. Nice bed, shower and AC. Rustic but cool. Beach front and a pool, loved the hammock outdoors in the shade ! We had dinner at the restaurant and food was great. Short 7 minutes walk to playa conchal where we spent most of our days and only a 6 minutes drive to playa flamingo!

Can't beat the location right in the beach Hotel Brasilito is at the centre of it all. Good restaurant with amazing ambience -beach view and live music - attached. I would call this more of a hostel than a hotel though because accomodations are rustic. Down sides were that there is no safe for valuables, windows don't lock in ground level rooms which can raise safety concerns for some, very limited parking and no water bottle fill station was an inconvenience. Also the ceiling fan looked so dodgy once turned on we decided against using it. Overall though a great little spot and we would go back.

Best hotel on my 3 week trip. Awesome location right on the beach. Nice pool with howler monkeys in the trees. Snorkling, fishing and surfing is 1 minut from front door I wanted to stay a few days more but Unfortunately not possible Great value for money

Location was amazing and staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the extra outdoor space including the pool area, it allowed for the property to feel like a great home base. Area was safe and my 10 year could walk up to the minimart on the corner for snacks! You can hear the waves but you can also hear that rooster in the morning.

Lors de la réservation, nous avions réservé la suite lune de miel avec balcon et vue sur l’océan. Comme il était très important pour nous d’obtenir précisément cette chambre, nous avons pris soin d’envoyer un courriel à l’hébergement afin de confirmer que la réservation correspondait bien à notre demande. Nous n’avons malheureusement jamais reçu de réponse à ce message. À notre arrivée à l’hôtel, on nous a attribué une chambre qui ne correspondait pas du tout à celle que nous avions réservée. On a insisté pour nous dire qu’il s’agissait bien de la chambre réservée, jusqu’à ce que je montre la confirmation provenant du site Hôtels.com. La direction nous a finalement expliqué que la chambre avait été réservée en double : une personne serait passée directement par l’hôtel et la disponibilité n’aurait pas été retirée du site de réservation. Nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une chambre donnant directement sur le restaurant, sans aucune intimité. Nous ne pouvions même pas ouvrir les rideaux, puisque les clients du restaurant avaient une vue directe dans notre chambre. De plus, nous avions demandé qu’un transport soit organisé pour venir nous chercher à l’aéroport. L’hôtel nous avait confirmé le prix de la course et indiqué que tout était en ordre. Or, à notre arrivée, personne ne s’est présenté. La nuit, l'hôtel est adjacent à un grand stationnement où trois coqs et six chiens se font un un plaisir de vous réveiller à toute heure de la nuit.

Lovely little beach hotel with pool and restaurant on Playa Brasilito. Easy walk to Playa Conchal. My only suggestion would be coffee makers added to the rooms or a coffee bar set up in the restaurant.
