"This chalet was not like our last experience via VRBO, (That cabin should have been an arson project!) Claycomb Chalets is a jewel and really needs to be experienced. Julie and Dave were awesome hosts and made sure we were comforatable during our too short a stay. We ARE going to return for another visit in the not too distant future. "

"Everything was what was pictured and more! The owners chose such comfortable furnishings and beds. We loved the privacy of the house and location of the hot tub being directly outside of the door. We also enjoyed making a firepit both nights and had ample firewood to use. Cash box is an excellent idea as no one wanted to haul or look for wood. Anything you need is labeled by the owners (so thoughtful) and they were quickly responsive when the pilot light went out in the fireplace. Kitchen has all the essentials since we brought food and cooked both nights. Didn't see a knife block, but there were knives available. Pots, pans, and cookie sheets were there for us to use. They also provided some freebies for us as guests. We would definitely recommend this house for a quiet getaway close to 7 Springs or Hidden Valley as we were a close drive for Fall Festival. "

"Our stay was amazing! The cabin inside was fully equipped with all the essentials and very clean and inviting. The property grounds were beautiful and tranquil with a relaxing hot tub and fire pit. Bonus that the firewood was provided for us!Jess the owner was so very personable and so thoughtful about making sure we had everything we needed.Our group all decided that we would definitely like to rent this property again!"
