Just take the lift to the ground floor and enjoy al fresco dining at the best restaurants Cairns can offer...

Directly above the Night Markets and 300 meters from the Reef Terminal where all the boats depart for the Great Barrier Reef. Also directly opposite the huge (free) outdoor Cairns Esplanade swimming pool.

The Cairns Esplanade boardwalk runs right by the front door. Excellent bird, fish, crustacean and crab watching or check out the fascinating tropical plants, trees and insects right at your doorstep. Bring your binoculars. Stroll along the Esplanade or enjoy the weekend outdoor markets and occasional free entertainment.

Supermarket is 100 meters from the back door. Unit has a full-size fridge, benchtop hotplates for cooking and a microwave/convection oven. Also fully automatic washing machine with drying lines on the balcony. Large screen TV and full outdoor setting on the balcony. Unit has airconditioning or ceiling fans.

Under-cover parking included plus free use of the gym, pool and BBQ.

Full-length glassed shower recess is a feature. Draw the curtains back and watch the ships come and go from your shower if you dare :)

Sleeping arrangements can be twin single or kingsize bed in the separate bedroom and daybed with trundle in the lounge. Tariff is for 2 persons. Additional guests attract an additional nightly surcharge. Maximum 4.

Cleaning/linen fee covers all linen hire, including bath and pool towels for all. Mid-stay mini-clean available at minimal cost on request.

Large regional public library at the back door. Local tours available from the tour desk downstairs and buses leave from the front door.

Grear unit with water views and in central location

Well equipped self contained unit. Patio overlooks the park, lagoon and boardwalk. Ideal for guests without a car. The train and central bus stop is walkable.

Fantastic Accomodation

Great 7 day stay, the apartment had everything you need. Its location could not have been better by the night market and lots of restaurants. We booked a few trips with the travel agent in the building and she is very helpful.

We really enjoyed staying in this unit! Booking and checking in was easy with great communication and friendly service. The apartment is really comfortable with everything we needed. The view was so beautiful and the location could not be better. We would definitely stay here again on any return trip to Cairns!!

What a find! Host was super helpful. Location was excellent and the description presented was bang on. Lots of room for a couple. Beautiful view. Bbq and pool area were very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Everything you could wish for and more .

Darrell's apartment is a little gem ,located right in the heart of Cairns ,you don't need a car unless you plan on leaving the city itself. Darrell's apartment has it all, clean, self contained which is always a must if staying for at least a week, not to mention the amazing views. So if you want to tick all the box's then I would recommend this beauty, we would definitely stay here again, also very easy instructions to check into the unit as well ,as some times this can be the tricky part but not this one , so simple.

The location is very good with a good view. The unit has everything you’d need for a short stay. However, the interior could use some sprucing up with fresh paint & some pictures especially in the bedroom. The furniture is too big for the space in the living area. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Great location

Perfect spot for our 4 days in Cairns. Nice view from balcony and very comfortable bed. Could be 5 stars…just needs a little paint job so the walls don’t look so dingy (our first impression). The apartment is in a great location to walk everywhere. Communication with owner is excellent.

Short stay with everything we wanted

Only two nights but everything was as good as advertised. Great location, beautiful view of ocean, very convenient to restaurants and our barrier reef cruise. We used washing machine and overnight hanging of laundry worked well. Comfortable beds and well equipped. Would highly recommend and hope to use this facility again

Perfect Location

We really enjoyed this accommodation, clean, easy to access, everything we needed, plenty of space and privacy. Just step out the entrance onto the main Esplanade Street and everything is right there (You will never go hungry!) Although there is a pool onsite, it is also only a one minute walk to enjoy the lovely Esplanade Pool. Six minutes walk to the Casino. Comfortable bed and the lazy boy couch was great. Large smart TV and the most beautiful view, especially of the Ferris Wheel just across the road at night.

Very comfortable, well appointed apartment with lovely views, and in a great location above the Cairns night markets and many eateries. We really appreciated the opportunity to use the washing machine after our adventure to Cape York with Outback Spirits - highly recommend this apartment to those visiting Cairns for a short or longer stay.

A great stay in a great location

Being able to walk out the front and the back doors and have a range of dining options was very good. We enjoyed watching the ferris wheel and it's light display. The unit is very comfortable and has everything you will need for a pleasant stay.

Fabulous Cairns

What a fantastic 5 days in Cairns! The location totally made our stay! The convenience of the apartment to everything was perfect. Kitchen fully equipped to cook up meals with the kids, night markets downstairs to grab a variety of food for all. Shopping trolley to do a Woolies shop and coffee downstairs after an early morning sunrise walk for mum. Really cannot fault anything and totally recommend this place, we’ll be back.
