Where to start. The track up to the apartment is very narrow, steep and rough. Its awkward to turn around at the top. When parking on the tiny parking space the car goes on 3 wheels getting on and off. Its not ideal. The apartment. The spiral staircase looks good on the pictures. The reality is its a nightmare. Its too narrow to take a suitcase up. We banged our heads on the metal steps and on the roof at the top. Its very dangerous going down to the bathroom at night. The roof terrace sold us the apartment but can only be reached by the spiral staircase. Impossible to carry a tray of drinks or food upstairs safety. So we didn't use it. There is a damp problem in the bedroom. The bed felt damp every night we got in and by the end of the week the ceiling had lots of black mould patches everywhere. The communication with the host was not the best. Struggled to get hold of her before we arrived. Got no reply through our messages on Expedia or Vrbo. We honestly did not want to stay the second we arrived. We were on our phones looking for alternative accommodation but it was all to expensive on top of what we had already paid. And with the lack of communication we felt we would get no refund. On our return we expressed our concerns to the host but again received no reply.

Prachtig uitzicht vanaf de locatie, heerlijk om ook ‘s avonds de zonsondergang mee te maken vanaf het dakterras, bijv. onder het genot van een glaasje locale Poncha met passievruchtensap. Verzorgd en stijlvol. Bereikbaarheid goed als je een middel-kleine auto met wat pit weet te besturen op een vrij stijle helling, langs op het eind een smal weggetje. Er is gelegenheid zelfs een Renault Clio redelijk te parkeren achter het met afstandbediening sluitbare hek van het huisje. Alternatief is iets verderop gratis langs de weg. Er zijn diverse goed bruikbare voorzieningen in en om het huisje, zoals wasmachine, koffiemachine, moderne ceramische kookplaat, koelvriescombi, etc. Door te luchten op geschikte momenten, viel de temperatuur en luchtkwaliteit prima te regelen. Horren zouden nog een prettige aanvulling zijn. De wenteltrap die de 2 verdiepingen verbindt, was wat wennen met een lengte van 1,78m, incl. wat stootrisico, maar was prima te doen, zelfs ‘s nachts of met een koffer, als je er even voorzichtig tijd voor neemt. Er zijn altijd wel wat kleinigheden, maar al met al zou ik dit huisje zeker aanraden na hier 2 weken met mijn vrouw verbleven te hebben.
