Beautiful place to stay.

Had a lovely stay. Very welcoming and room was terrific as the bed was a standout. Breakfast was great and Stefano was a brilliant host. Loved the atmosphere and the personal touches everywhere. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay! The hosts were lovely, chef prepared breakfast, quaint setting. The breakfast area looks over a lush green lawn. There are so many collectibles in the home you could look around forever. Loved our stay! Even a little chocolate with gold foil on the linens to welcome us. You can walk right down the street to the Callendar.❤️

Lovely stay. I misjudged my arrival time and arrived around 10:15pm, way after the 7pm check-in deadline. I did communicate with Francesca (owner) at 8pm that I would be late. She was super sweet and accommodating and I apologized several times. I would definitely stay again. Great room, location, breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend!

It really is a beautiful place to stay and you get a nice welcome when you arrive. The rooms are really nice and ours had lovely views of the garden. The breakfast in morning was really nice and the service was first class. Due to the age of the building you do get some noise from other rooms but not enough to spoil your stay. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return in the future

A relaxing and welcoming stay

What a wonderful stay. One of the reasons we chose Lubnaig was because of the impeccable reviews and we can't agree further. From the moment we booked, we had good communication from Stefano and Francesca. We were also lucky to stay on one of the nights they cook dinner so we also booked in for that. The guesthouse is just on the edge of Callander within easy reach of different walking trails in and around, as well as the high street. Plenty of on site parking too. We were greeted by Stefano and warmly welcomed into the house. Our room on the ground floor, Virginia, was incredibly comfy and clean. It had everything we needed as well as a view across the garden. Plenty of hot water, good shower etc. Extra thought given to guests who may feel cold with a heater provided although we thought the house was plenty warm enough. On top of that, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Breakfast choices were made at night and that meant it was all prompt in the morning. Both ladies who greeted us were incredibly friendly. Breakfast set us up really well for walking, was plentiful and freshly cooked. Our dinner with Stefano and Francesca also exceeded all expectations. An Italian feast that we would eat over and over again. On the night they weren't cooking, they made a great recommendation for a restaurant a short walk away in Callander. We cannot recommend Lubnaig enough and have already suggested it to family. Thank you!
