"We went to Camarillo to attend a wedding over the weekend with two other families. We all stayed at this hotel and found the hotel lacking. All of us had problems with the showers, water went from cold to warm back to cold while showering. Breakfast was basically very limited for those who were willing to wait for one person who manages that area. The carpets in the rooms and hallways were way overdue for a good cleaning. We will not be staying at one of these hotels again."

"Nice, clean and updated rooms, the place is very nice with the garden and pool areas very well maintained. Breakfast included but it wasn't very good. Nice places near by to eat."

"I have stayed here a few times in the past couple of years. The price is reasonable and the location is great! The staff was very helpful, but the room was a disappointment. The toilet was dirty, the sink had gnats coming out of it (the basin around the plug had a black ring), and the beds were very uncomfortable. In all fairness, these have not been problems in my previous stay, but this trip was 4 nights long!"

"Proximate to my venue. Also close to freeway noise."

"Very nice"

"Nice location. Front desk people were nice. The breakfast was really good, very nice. Would highly recommend and especially for the price."

"Staff was actually very great, but the room was ran down from bathroom smelling HORRIBLE from sewer I would assume to the borders and trim split and gaps"

"Good Staff, room looked a bit worn.. Breakfast options on site way too $$$"

"Ambiance"

"Nice spacious rooms and bathrooms with a pull out wood chair that is used for the large vanity in the bathroom. Minor issue is the printer wasn’t working and when they told me to email the docs and they would print it but was then told they were out of paper and told me to try again tomorrow when supplies were delivered."

"The breakfast selection was good!"

"Very good staff"

"Very impressed with this property, we were on our way from SF to San Diego, thought we would stop off at Oxnard for a day or two to unwind. Great property, super clean and convenient, well run breakfast and coffee bar. Awesome space to walk the dog and very quiet. Thanks to the maintenance guys who fixed our AC just before the weather turned super hot. Now we are in SD and wish we had found a Staybridge Suites nearby. Thanks so much for getting our trip off to a great start!"

"Nice historic hotel. Could use a little clean up or update in the room I got. Slight foul smell but I guess that's to be expected with older hotels and especially with carpet. Overall nice stay though."

"My room was supposed to be a king size bed . It was not , it was a queen . The bathroom and carpet need to be updated . Other Marriotts that allow pets have taken the carpets out and allowed for a cleaner atmosphere . The staff padding in the hall way were friendly . The desk staff were also friendly . Paying for parking was not mentioned into are arrival . Ridiculous to add that fee ."

"I liked that it was close In n Out"
