"Having a travel trailer of our own, it was exactly as we had expected. The trailer was in a private site with 2 other trailers just off the main road but hidden by trees and greenery. Brian and Elizabeth had the trailer nicely decorated and supplied with everything you would need to make your stay comfortable."

"Property location was perfect - beautiful beach and water view from room was lovely. Late check-in was problematic as instructions given were unclear. The door that was left open for us to access the room had a sign reading ‘please use other door’. The contact number to call was unresponsive. Had to try all doors on the property before returning to the initial door. Very confusing and frustrating."

"The pods themselves are delightfully simple and sparse. Cozy and warm. Quirky and fun. For what it’s worth, as many wouldn’t care, the overall planing and layout of the pods to one another, parking, and the common house is poor. It’s a lost opportunity with site design to create a balance of privacy and connection between pods, a sense of arrival by automobile, and a meaningful relationship to the common house, which could have been designed as a central space to encourage connection between guests. As it is, it’s just a disappointing trip to the bathroom. That’s just my critical eye as an architect. Ingonish has sufficient natural beauty and personal charm to soften the cold heart of a critic like me. Enjoy your stay! This place is better than the bland motels and banal chalets."
