"It was very peaceful. The stairs to the bed were steeper than we thought. If you are a person that has to be by a close bathroom, I wouldn't recommend this."

"The property is tucked away nicely. It is about a 25min drive to go anywhere for hikes, site seeing, and any touristy things. The property is clean for the most part. The hot tub was very clean, and very nice after the long hikes. Pet friendly as our dog enjoyed individual AC units throughout the cabin. Bear Branch Cabins is SUPER responsive and very proactive with their communications. Loved our stay!"

Lakeside Cabin: Private Dock - Canoe & Kayaks - HotTub -PetFriendly -Arcade Game

10/10 Excellent
"The house was a little older than I thought but it was clean, cozy and has plenty of room for all of us. The house was right on the water, and the new deck was a popular hangout for all of us. The house was listed with 2 kid's kayaks, however when we arrived there were 3 kids kayaks so no fighting over usage! The kids learned to kayak, and we swam and fished the whole stay. The kids really loved it and said their favorite part of vacation was learning to kayak. There is life vest for everyone. There were so many games there no need to bring any. We appreciated the smores marshmallow sticks, complimentary wood, local soda and popcorn! There is a book on the living room table with lots of local information in it. Also, they start you out with a generous number of bags and toilet paper, coffee, tea and spices, salt and pepper. Since there are limited places to eat, we cooked almost every night. There are a few places nearby and the food is amazing there! Also, side note is that the natural bridge lodge lets you swim in their pool for a small fee. We did that after we hiked to the natural bridge. Great time had by all!"

"Beautiful location and cabin! Do not use the address given for Google maps. It will not take you to the property. Look up Moto Wizard business near there and that will take you to Cable Lane where the property is located. If you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, you about need it. It's a very rugged drive back to it. Don't drive down the driveway to the stairs of the house, you might not get out. It's a very steep drive. Park in the spot at the top. It's a very quiet, peaceful setting."

"Everything was great but we weren’t aware the bathroom was disconnected from our cabin until we got there. We talked to guests at another cabin and they said the same thing, so it could be made clearer that there are no bathrooms in the cabins. Hot tub was great and everything was clean and the check in/out process was very easy."
