"Clean room and quiet inside hotel. Older hotel that they are hopefully still remodeling because there were many drywall patches on wall that still needed to be painted and markings on the wall where they wanted furniture placed. Did hear cars out on the road racing or doing doughnuts in some close by parking lot on friday night. Staff friendly. Breakfast was ok."

"My wife and I live just north of the border, and we visit Bellingham often to come down to do a little bit of shopping as well as to eat at a couple of our favorite restaurants. We always stay at this property. My wife has a disability and so we always book the accessible room with the roll in shower. We consistently have a good stay here. Unlike a lot of other places along the I-5, you don’t have homeless problems here which is something you really need to be careful of. We’ve stayed at some other places in Bellingham in proximity to the I-5and they are horrible. Crackheads everywhere. Not the case here. The hotel itself is clean, the property is clean, attentive front desk staff, a decent breakfast, coffee and tea 24 hours a day, with lots of amenities within a mile radius. As I said, we enjoy staying here as it is consistently a good experience. If I had one negative thing to say, it would be about one person that works the front desk. This person is simply not friendly. They are not rude, or outwardly unfriendly in anyway, but for somebody that works in the hospitality industry they are probably one of the most inhospitable people I have ever dealt with at a hotel. It's too bad I have to check in with them. Just such a difference in the attitude of this person versus literally everyone else here. Not sure why they work in a hotel if they're just not wanting to muster a smile when someone is arriving and wanting to check in."

"Nice location and vibe for the price. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The entire unit was very clean and easy to access. The master bed was a king and very comfortable. The pull-out bed in the living room is a double, but it has a large gap down the middle, so it feels more like a twin. The apartment was well appointed, and everything worked. This unit is on the ground floor, and there is another unit above, so when people enter or exit the property, they go right past your window. As well, you hear everything in the upstairs apartment, from talking to television to people stomping on the floor. The stairs to access the unit from the street are quite steep and may be challenging for the elderly or people with disabilities. We loved the location and relaxing on the deck."

"Beautiful cozy place with outdoor space that makes it feel much larger. Stairs may be a challenge for older folks, but unique features, windows, and space gave it charm. The outdoor gazebo covered cedar soaking tub was maintained at a relaxing 102 degrees."

"Cute, nicely updated home. Great location. Was on the small side—we found the bedroom tricky as the sloped ceiling made it a bit difficult to get in and out of. Otherwise, very nice space."

"Great location in proximity to Mt Ranier NP. They really need to have their sign lighted at night as well as it is easily missed. It is also confusing that the website says INN the Mountains but that’s not the sign by the road. The entrance where the lock boxes are located needs to be better lighted."
