Golden Sunset Mountain View Room

A self-contained studio at the foot of Sir Lowry`s Pass, with its own private entrance, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and fire braai area. Queen bed, mountain views over the Hottentots Holland range, and a dedicated parking bay.

The kitchenette has a bar fridge, microwave, air fryer, toaster and kettle. There is no oven or hotplate. Air conditioning, fast wifi, a TV and an indoor fireplace for cold evenings. The bathroom is open plan with the sleeping area.

The house runs on an inverter, so load shedding will not interrupt your stay.

Strand and Bikini Beach are 15 minutes away. Lourensford Market is 15 minutes, Elgin Market 30 minutes over the pass, and Cape Town International Airport 35 minutes.

You collect your key from the lockbox at the main gate. We send the code before you arrive.

We live on the property with our two young children and two dogs. The dogs bark when someone new arrives and then settle. They sleep indoors with us at night. This is a smallholding in a rural setting, so an insect or gecko occasionally finds its way indoors. Tell
Check-in from 2:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. Please let us know your arrival time in advance.

Smoking is not permitted indoors. Outside is fine, please dispose of cigarettes responsibly.

Quiet after 10:00 PM out of respect for our neighbours.

Pets cannot be accommodated, with the exception of registered service animals.

Park in the bay marked for the Golden Sunset Room. Please do not block neighbouring driveways.

Visitors and additional guests by prior arrangement only. Please do not invite people you do not know onto the property.

Damages and breakages happen. Report them to us straight away and we will sort it out. Depending on the extent, guests may be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.

Waste goes into the recycling bins provided.
