Our stay at the Mount Nelson was magical. From the moment we arrived, we were so happy with the impeccable service and the beauty of the grounds. Not to mention the incredible views with the property being nestled at the base of Table Mountain. It is an incredible escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cape Town.

The Mount Nelson is truly a special hotel. It's physical location affords you an incredible view of Table Mountain. Rooms were spacious and luxuriously appointed with huge bathrooms. The service was outstanding, particularly rom Muchi the concierge who was very helpful in assisting us with planning excursions and hard-to-snag dinner reservations. High tea was a real treat and was even better thanthose I have had in London. We loved the Planet Bar and daily breakfasts, which were impressive and massive! I would highly recommend you stay at the "pink lady."

Absolutely fantastic property and staff! It’s in a great location and the grounds are breathtaking. They have two heated pools and a great breakfast buffet that everyone rightfully raves about. The Mount Nelson did not disappoint

We loved staying at the Mount Nelson, we did not get in our car the whole time we stayed there. Loved the old grandeur of the hotel, the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. We loved the adult pool, which we mostly had all to ourselves. We loved walking in the gardens of the hotel as well as the surrounding neighbourhood. Of Course we did afternoon tea at the Nellie, and it was everything I had always read about it. We will definately be back visiting the pink lady
