I stayed for one night and appreciated having an affordable place close to the station, with plenty of shops nearby. I was also happy to find a kettle with coffee and tea, which made for a fresh and pleasant morning. The only downside was that there was no hand soap or shampoo provided, which would have made the stay more comfortable. Overall, I’m satisfied with what I received for the price and happy with my stay

Room spotless allowed late check in. Great nights sleep.
The hotel was somewhere to stay for the night. Basic, but clean with necessary amenities.
The location was a challenge to find on a busy road, but a call to the staff provided a courteous and helpful set of directions, with one outside to guide me into the parking space.
En~suite toilet and shower, TV and tea making facilities.
Good value for money if you are looking for a cheap and simple place to stay.
Room was dirty bathroom mouldy no towels bed headboard broken location was good .

Stayed just one night in a twin room, which was fine for the relatively low price and included free parking. A lovely old building, but in need of some decoration to freshen it up a bit. No soap in the bathroom. Can't comment on the dining area or food as we didn't have any. Didn't see anyone else staying there, but was told they were fairly busy? Bar area OK, a short use of the dart board resulted in the surrounding tyre falling off when removing the darts. Cigarette stub under a seat in the same area (possibly walked in on someone's shoe?). Staff (mostly one man), was very nice and helpful.

Radiators in the room must have been for decoration, there was no heating on a freezing cold night, owners must have known this because on arrival we were handed a tiny fan heater, which made little difference in a big room. Toilet wasnt clean, bathroom light didnt work initially, towels weren't provided until I went to reception and asked for them, bed was uncomfortable. Genuinely glad I didn't pay a huge amount for the room because it is one of the worst stays I've had. Only 2 stars instead of 1 because the shower was actually warm, the TV worked and the room was quiet despite its location.
The location was excellent, walking distance from town centre shops, pubs & restaurants. Hotel also had a car park and nice bar with a free pool table. Owner was very helpful with check in and explaining where everything was. It is not trying to be a luxurious hotel, but for a cheap room for the night to break up a long drive it was perfect for my needs. The only real negative I had is that the bed wasn't the comfiest but I still slept fine.
I actually didnt stay at the place i drove home,it was dirty, mouldy, carpet was filthy, the decoration looked like it hadnt been done for years.holes in the walls where brackets had been, smelt of damp, wobbly toilet seat.i sat on the bed a while and started itching.i then decided to drive home.the whole place needs refurbing
