We loved our stay! We had a great view of the ocean and sunsets. Our room felt cozy and we slept great! The Green Lantern Inn is perfectly located near downtown with everything within walking distance. As for parking, we had no issues. We always found a spot right in front of the Inn. The property is really cute and the location is excellent! It is within walking distance of Ocean Avenue where there’s lots of shopping and a variety of restaurants. Be aware it is an old inn so it does not have air conditioning and the wall heater in the bedroom will not heat the bathroom. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Quiet oasis, very stylish. Not like a hotel - little scattered cottages. Note heater is small and cooling is ceiling fans. If very cold or very hot, not sure if it’s enough for perfect comfort. Very nice bed. Photos didn’t show a microwave but there was one, as well as fridge, in the room. Excellent spot for a rest. Carmel much more peaceful than Monterey.
