Cute hotel with good service, but rooms need serious upgrades
The hotel itself has a charming vibe and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. However, the rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. The carpets were old and lifting in several places, and the bathroom fixtures—showers, tubs, and toilets—looked outdated and frankly a bit gross.
A big downside: our friends found a large spider on their bed, which was really unsettling.
If the hotel invests in some renovations and deep cleaning, it could be a much better experience. Until then, I’d be cautious about booking unless you’re prioritizing location and service over comfort.
