I have been here 10 years before, but only for a one-night-stay, cause I was on a trip to another city. Really impressive by the environment and design of the room, especially the atmosphere in the lodge. This time, I came with my partner, everything was as perfect as before, the front desk was helpful all the time, nice and friendly, explained everything to you clearly. I will come back in the future, and definitely recommend to people who want to have a cozy and relax vocation in Carmel.

I really enjoyed staying at the lodge. The room was spacious, nice and clean and the bed was comfortable, They have a little putting area by the room and a small but pretty area to sit outside. The restaurant was very good.

We absolutely loved this property! The room was tastefully decorated and the patio with the view of the lake and golf course was great! It was ideally located to visit Monterey and Carmel but the weather was so much better.

Liked the fire pits and S'mores, although longer sticks would be good. Liked the wine hour and balcony. Pool was nice, but it was cold and a hot tub would have been greatly appreciated. E-bikes were fun, as was the putting course.

The Quail is a very nice hotel, but unless you're into golf, there's not much to see or do there. Carmel is about 15 minutes away by car, but if you just want to step outside the hotel and walk to nearby stores or attractions, there aren't any. The facilities and housekeeping were excellent - our only complaint is that the toilet was incredibly low-height - potentially a problem for people with creaky knees.

Beautiful property, very well maintained, perfect place to rest, or enjoy the pool, walking around safe trails surrounded by nature. Although I am not a golfer, but I can tell that the golf fields are well maintained and there are golfing gears in the room. Minutes away from the Carmel by the sea. Grate dining, elegant restaurant with pleasant attentive staff. Would definitely come back and recommend this property to others
