"Fantastic location. Great staff and a small and basic but functional room. Slept well. No amenities in the room and single rooms don’t have a window, however I did enjoy the stay."

"Great hotel, I’ve stayed many times and it’s the first time under this brand. Previously dogs could stay for free, but now it £15 per night, though the room doesn’t get serviced whilst you stay.. so this seems a bit steep. Food is overpriced in the restaurant, but the drinks are ok. Staff are very pleasant and the refurb is going well. Will be back"

"The room was tatty and lots of paint missing on windows in main room and doors in bathroom. The shower head was thick with black grime/mould and even though staying for 3 nights and the sign being outside the door on time each day, our room wasn’t cleaned once. Cleaners came in first day and changed the towels but that was it. I then had to ask for towels each day after. There weren’t enough towels for two people to start off with. Workmen starting at 8am a few doors down, why, when people are asleep and paying for the privilege?? Parking charges were messed up by reception staff after checking twice over! The pub/grill on site was brilliant though. Wouldn’t be excited to stay there again!"

"For a budget hotel as it states then yes all good, the only thing I would class as a negative is the additional parking charge that is then charged at check in, which then they only accept card payments no cash on site "

"Great experience arrived early asked if we could leave our cases while we explored the city they said they had a room ready so we checked in. Room was clean lots of usb points for charging bed was comfy bathroom modern as was the room great stay."
