This location was within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and Rainha beach. The quality of the bed and linens and the attention to detail was impeccable. it was like being in a protected oasis and Marco and the staff were so sweet and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices, also very helpful if you’re running up to Sintra or sightseeing. We would highly recommend!

I loved this hotel so much! I did not want to leave. I actually felt very down the day we checked out. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but never had such impeccable care. It was above and beyond. this hotel was perfect in every way , excellent location very clean and modern rooms in a 300 year old building . our room looked over a very busy street with a view of the famous arch . the street lined with restaurants was noisy with the window open but once closed we could not hear anything . very nice breakfast and the front desk people were very helpful and freindly . will stay here next visit

It was a fantastic hotel. The location can't be better and the hotel staffs were very helpful and polite. We could walk around the old Alfama area. We also got tips form the hotel reception. We had a early check out and the hotel staffs arranged breakfast box for us. Would certainly recommend this hotel for everyone.

Exceptionally clean, with accommodating staff. Steps away from the National Palace, and tour bus stops. Minutes from the train station, but don't try to walk it with luggage. Restaurants, and shops just around the corner.
