"The staff, from the pub to the hotel were absolutely wonderful! Very helpful and kind, telling me certain walking paths to get to the train station"

"Room was clean, well maintained, nice hot shower & comfy bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits and a decent size cup are always a plus ! Solo female travelling for work. Only stayed for one night but had everything I needed. Felt reasonably safe. Only issue was the 2nd cottages directions sign was on the right hand side of road & obscured by a tree branch, so I didn’t see it & my sat nav took me left at the end of the rd & up a very tight private road to a bungalow based on the post code. "A good location with good views over Barry. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The property was "tired" and with a good budget, has the potential to be a lovely venue. A good value for money, basic accommodation, if your expectations are not too high."

"Great location, close to restaurants, shops & cafes. Very clean & spacious room with lovely bathroom. Beautiful sea view close to pier. Plenty of street parking behind property."

"Bathroom was excellent in terms of lighting and shower. Great to have toiletries provided too. Kitchen in the suite was well appointed. Rooms were very quiet and clean"

"Rooms were lovely, staff friendly but restaurant a bit off. The fact you have an entrance and dedicated lift for it but no menu on the ground floor was a bit off. Once you’re up there it’s kind of oh well I guess I’ll eat up here. Back to the rooms very quiet and extremely comfortable"

"Arrived early as we were going to a matinee show in the Millennium centre. Although our room wasn't ready there was a place to store our belongings safely. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast is amazing."
