"The property is stunning, set in beautiful grounds, and the staff are lovely. They’re welcoming, accommodating, and were wonderful with my daughter, who is neurodivergent. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone."
"Tony & Chris are fantastic hosts. They have a beautiful property decorated to a very high standard. The rooms and bathrooms are fantastic. The rooms are large and have a fridge and tea tray in the rooms.
The property is in walking distance of the village and Emlyn Hotel where we were attending a wedding. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back k to stay again! "
"Really enjoyed our stay, it’s so quiet & spotlessly clean
Our room was large & airy, big windows & a sea view.
Very relaxing, exactly what we wanted
Complimentary breakfast was lovely "
"Great location, good service, good breakfast.
Room decor is a bit dated, with peeling paint over shower, but otherwise a good bathroom with rain shower and light up mirror over sink"

"We had a fantastic stay! The bed was super comfortable, the food was fresh and homemade, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Fast Wi-Fi and location made everything easy. Highly recommended!"
"A Wonderful Welsh Retreat!
My stay at this South Wales cottage was absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how beautiful and homey the house felt. It's clear a lot of care has gone into making it a truly comfortable and welcoming space.
The views from the cottage were simply stunning, offering a picturesque backdrop to my stay. I spent many happy moments just gazing out at the scenery. Beyond the aesthetics, the cottage was incredibly well-equipped; I genuinely found everything I could possibly need during my visit, making it a truly hassle-free experience.
To top it all off, the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. I couldn't recommend this cottage highly enough for anyone looking for a perfect getaway in South Wales!"
"On arrival we were greeted by the owners who made us very welcome. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, breakfast outstanding. They could not do enough for us especially with my wife’s disability. We are looking forward to returning in the future."
"Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted.
Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us.
Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained. The corners of the bedroom behind the bedside tables were dirty and dusty, bedroom also had a smell of damp and mould.
Cobwebs throughout the property. Plates and mugs were put away dirty. The towel I was provided had a stain on it, possibly bleach but unknown.
Beside this the stay was lovely and would definitely come back to this charming cottage set in the beautiful Welsh countryside.
