"Upon arrival i was taken aback. There was a tarp on the roof on signs of construction in the front yard. In order to get into the home you have to walk around the house to the back door. Upon entry there were signs of water damage in the ceiling. "The property grounds are terrific with big old trees covered in moss, sitting gardens and paths. The breakfast - such a delight with attentive, friendly staff and tasty food at a breakfast table meeting other guests was a treat. Hospitality is great. If only there was some reinvestment in the facilities. Local noises come right into the rooms and the bed mattresses need an upgrade. HVAC was great. "

"Went for relaxation while in the city . Lobby was clean spacious and updated . Check in went smooth . One of the elevators was out , understandable , but the hotel was also hosting a mixer in the front of the building . So wait for elevator was a bit long. Room was spacious ,but dated and aged, with purple walls and turquoise curtains . Not a big deal for a night or two but there was “event” being held in front of the building , music blared until 1030 or so . Called down , Cade in guest services was not very helpful nor polite. Hilton customer service and Expedia was helpful in the end. "
