"Gaye's property is the embodiment of what a vacation rental should be, you feel like a welcome guest while having the amenities of home. It is incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to decompress, enjoy the stars and beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Gaye was a wonderful host, communication was flawless and she has lots of special touches to make your stay memorable. We stay in a lot of rentals since we travel with kids and there's very few I can wholeheartedly recommend but this is one of them."

"Pros: If you are looking for a relaxing quite place, this is it. Beautiful area, quite, clear star filled skies at night. Wife loved feeding and petting the rescue horses and donkeys. Cons: Gas fireplace did not work, asked to have fixed three days in a row. Never did work. No paved roads on property, so very dusty. Food was good, but pricey. Coffee (filtered) quality was poor. Order espresso. "

"We love staying here at the Barranca Plaza Casita, having stayed many times. Floyd is a wonderful person and a great communicator. From the front bedroom the casita offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and it also contains all the amenities you will need. We will definitely be back-again!"

The house was absolutely beautiful with so much thoughtfulness going into the items we might need during our stay; there were even binoculars for us to use! The grounds were so peaceful and quiet with plenty of space to spread out. The pictures on the website do not do it justice, if you're considering this property, BOOK IT...you will not be disappointed. Amber was very responsive every time I reached out to her and her father even came to look for us when we thought we were lost. "
