The Sea Garden Cottage (Studio Cottage) with Swimming Pool and Access to our Private Dock with Beach area 1 block over. This new home has modern island finishes, hardwood floors, hardwood vaulted ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, linens, Flat Screen TV/DVD, Free WiFi, Air conditioning, washing machine, and a shared large swimming pool with loungers with only our 2 other small cottages. This home has a studio style layout, an open Queen bedroom and a comfy futon in the main for a couple or small family. Only a 3 minute walk to the ocean down a short sandy road to our private dock and beach area.
Please, no indoor smoking/no pets. This property has 2 other small cottages in a gated property.

There are no cars on this small paradise island, bicycles are the preferred method of travel, otherwise golf cart taxis are readily available. We rent islands bicycles, we have children's bikes, & child carriers, cribs, and highchairs too. We have paddle boards, sea kayaks, and canoes are free for your use. Be adventurous and explore!
We also rent golf carts, recommend to reserve in advance.

What an amazing vacation

This place was amazing!! We loved having access to rent bikes from the property, the pools, the dock and games!! It was such a perfect location....not too close to the action and not too far!! Thank you again for the amazing hospitality....the girls that worked the desk were awesome!

Sea Garden cottage stay

We really enjoyed the Sea Garden cottage. Beautiful set up and very private. The cottage had everything we needed, everything worked well and was clean. John and his crew were wonderful! The only downfall was the lack of sun at the pool and the pool water was very cold. Fortunately, we were able to use the pools at the other Velento rentals. Located at the end of the island, so a bit further to everything. We're glad we rented bikes.

Clean and cozy

I stayed here for 2 nights with a friend and we enjoyed it. The pull out bed wasnt super comfy but everything else was great. We were grateful to run a load of laundry in-house. Location next to airport is loud at times during the day when planes come in and out but we were glad to be a little further from town for the peace and quiet. Highly recommend for 2 people to stay

Pro’s: Well equipped clean and comfortable bed. Pool is well maintained and comfortable. Great lounge chairs on pier and around poolCon’s: Very close to airport runway beware if noise bothers you. Also close to a bar you will hear thumping bass long into night on weekends.Dock is a short walk 5 min at most but if it rains a lot of water in pot holes to navigate. In conclusion a great budget friendly choice if money not an issue rent on waterside.

Nice property, would return

Great stay with Velento! This cottage is very close to the airport, so skip the taxi. It is a very quaint studio style property suitable for a couple or maybe a couple with one smaller child. It’s not large, maybe 400 sq-ft but very well appointed and equipped. The grounds are maintained daily and to perfection. Pick up some bug coils at the local grocery to combat the tiny sand mites (that are everywhere on the islands). The dock at the main property is a short walk away and the main town area is a short ride (bike/golf cart) or a longer walk. No surprises here which was a great thing. I’d definitely recommend staying here or at the other Velento properties on island.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in the Sea Garden cottage and found it very clean, quiet, and more importantly comfortable. I loved that the cottage had a water dispenser. We loved our kitchenette and cooked breakfast and a few lunches while we were there. The staff always responded to any questions we had immediately. We rented bikes from VsLento which was quite convenient and we utilized them every day. I really enjoyed that the property was away from the crowds of the split so coming home was nice because it was so quiet on our side. Breakfast at Weeziws was also nice. I liked that the property had games, hammocks, and lawn chairs at the pier for us to enjoy. I would definitely stay there again if we ever return to Caye Caulker. Id also like to say, the Belizean people are the best! They’re all very very kind and helpful.

Short Adventure from San Ignacio

We were in Belize to visit family in San Ignacio and wanted a short island vacation. Everything was exactly as expected and the staff were equally impressive. As an owner of a 5 star VRBO property since 2008, I definitely give this property 5 stars. Thank you, we will return

Nice place, clean pool, a little far from town

This is a nice place (if you don’t mind not being off the ocean front. ) The pool is very clean, the bed and sitting room are both comfortable. The location was a little too far from town for us and we found we needed to rent a golf cart for our in order to get around. The water pressure in the shower is low and they do not supply any soap or shampoo. In all, it's a nice place for the cost and person who checked us in was very helpful during our stay.

It is immaculate, exceptionally well equipped (fully functional kitchen, ample cleaning products, towels, washing machine, drying lines, AC, etc) and perfectly kept up. The landscaping and pool are gorgeous (daily maintenance), and the location is perfect (very quiet and peaceful but close enough to bike to restaurants and stores). The bed has a new mattress that is super comfortable. A plus: being able to use the pier. The owners are very responsive. No complaints whatsoever!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First I’d like to say that the Sea Garden Cottage was very clean, neat and felt very homey as our base camp for our 10 day stay. We loved the pool which was “crystal clear” and clean every day... and having the rental bikes parked and ready outside our cottage made our lives easy. We enjoyed the dock a few times (great spot to test your snorkeling gear before any excursions) which was a short walk (even shorter by bike!) from the cottage. The location was perfect for us... on the quiet end of the island by the airport (made arrival and departure so easy! Took a golf-car cab but is walking distance!) — yet a short bike ride to the center of Caye Caulker where shopping, restaurants and bars are..,.,5 min ride maybe? A few times we used a cab, especially if we were out later after dark or knew a rainstorm was coming ... just for convenience, not because we were afraid of the dark LOL. Just a great experience all around.. loved it here and this Velento property set the stage for a fantastic trip! “Go Slow” is the motto on this island and that was fine with us... we’re a bit older, and there was plenty of action for us (including all the snorkeling, scuba diving, and fishing options to choose from plus the street food vendors, and restuarants and bars. If you’re still young and wild (lol), San Pedro takes it up a notch on the Caye just north of Caye Caulker and is a short boat ride away! Finally HUGE THANK YOU to ownership and staff for their professionalism, attention to details, and just for providing a wonderful living environment for our stay.

Quaint and idyllic

Kelsie and the rest of the VeLento staff were very kind and accommodating. The Sea Garden Cottage is clean, cozy, and private. The shared pool is also clean and has a great deck. We rented their bikes while we were there. We definitely recommend getting around the island by bike. The Sea Garden Cottage is conveniently situated and a short and fun bike ride away from local markets, restaurants and popular tourist hangouts.

A Slice of Paradise

It was a quick 8-minute bike ride into town which was fun. The property was nestled in beautiful foliage with a stone pathway to the grill and the pool. The bed was comfy and the property had everything you needed to enjoy an extended stay. So many restaurants to choose from. The property manager, Don, has exceptional customer service. He went above and beyond caring for us during our stay. Also, Kelsey was always eager to assist with whatever we needed.

It had everything we needed, and the owners/management were very helpful and flexible. The pool was immaculate, the landscaping beautifully maintained. We enjoyed the access to the pier and the proximity to the little airport (easy walking distance). We hope to return to the Sea Garden next year.

Totally sweet place! Well-equipped -- responsive people

This place is great, and the management company running it could not have made our stay any smoother. The house was scrupulously clean, really well-equipped, and the huge warm pool was awesome! Someone came to clean the pool EVERY DAY so it was in prime condition, and every time we needed anything it was taken care of. This was a little slice of heaven for us, and we would love to return. Thanks to Nazle and Don and everyone else who helped us have such a great stay.

We loved Caye Caulker!

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. This is our second time visiting Caye Caulker and staying in the Sea Cottage. It was absolutely perfect for our visit with all the amenities we needed. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed morning and evening swims. We also took advantage of our bike rentals and rode all around the island. The location is perfect. It's on the quiet end of the island by the airport but everything is close in Caye Caulker. All in all a perfect week in Belize!
