"Staying on the island was wonderful although travelers need to realize that there are no elevators. Getting our luggage up 5 flights of stairs was challenging but well worth it. You simply cannot beat the location. The room was very nice and the free breakfast was amazing. "

"The room was a small room with a musty bathroom. It was grand for just one night. It was centrally located - in an annex of the hotel where the reception was. The view was of the overgrown yard space. You are paying to stay on Mont Saint Michel not for luxurious surroundings. Breakfast was at a nearby restaurant and was good and plentiful. Parking was a mystery - we were told to go to a hotel on the mainland to get instructions about our hotel location but no advice was given about how to access the mainland hotel parking area where you need a code for the barrier to lift. They did not answer the phone. Do bring water for your hotel room as there is none available. "

"Room was small and hard for 2 people to move around, carpet needs replacing throughout the hotel. Breakfast was fine and location was good."

"The gite is lovely and bijouIn a fantastic setting.All you need for a great stay, Sue & Paul are great hosts.We stayed over christmas and new year. Unfortunately it was cold in The gite so we had to wrap up but it was cold outside . But think the heating needs upgrading Having said that we would like to return one day in the summer months it is in such a beautiful setting "
