"Breathtaking Views and the Perfect Group Getaway!Our group had an absolutely wonderful time at this property. If you are looking for a relaxing sanctuary with stunning panoramic views of the water, the Shackelford banks and Cape Lookout Lighthouse, this is it! We spent so much of our time on the back deck watching the sunsets—it was truly spectacular.The house itself is spacious and perfectly laid out for a larger group. The kitchen is one of the best-stocked rentals we’ve ever stayed in, making it easy to prepare meals for everyone. Spending the day at Shackleford Banks looking for the wild horses was a major highlight of our trip!Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The management team was very responsive and made the check-in/check-out process a breeze. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to unwind and reconnect. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent stocking of essentials! Very cute Decor. Host (Chris) was very timely and responsive. Close proximity to the Core Sound Museum and lighthouse ferry. Looking forward to visiting in the future!There is a rooster down the road, which woke up my friend...I only heard it one morning...but lol...its definitely down east island life and I love it! Just be prepared if you're city folk!"

"Booking and checkin were simple. House was clean and had everything we needed. Great location for catching the ferry or checking out the visitors center. Beautiful views from inside or out on one of the decks in a comfy chair. Lots of books and games for the rainy days. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy yourself. "Clean and comfortable.Few windows, so a little cave like, but the outdoor swing let me enjoybthe nice days. Kitchen is small, as pictured. I found a one burner hotplate in the cabinet, so i was able to do a little cooking. Still ate at the Fish Hook next door a few nughtsBed is very comfortable, and there are lots of drawers to unpack and stay organized. Didnt try the TV, but reading in the TV room was comfortable. Easy in and out. "
