"The room and property is very clean , breakfast was wonderful and staff is always amazing and helpful . This was our fourth stay here while on Mérida every year and the only hotel we will ever stay at in Merida. The location is wonderful and very walkable hotel is beautiful pool is also very nice"

"There was no fridge in the room or telephone. We had to go downstairs to the reception or call from our cell phone. There was no restaurant as indicated on the internet. Only a small café for breakfast only. The TV did not work well when we finally got someone to come up and get it to work. The location was very convenient: close to restaurants and stores and it was super easy to get an uber. The pool was in the open lobby with not much place to lay around."

"Shambalanté is truly a hidden jewel in the heart of the Yucatecan jungle—a sanctuary for the soul. From the moment you arrive, time seems to slow down, replaced by a deep sense of peace, quiet, and connection with nature. Everything about this place invites you to breathe more deeply, to let go, and to reconnect with yourself and with the nature around you. The surroundings are simply magical, and the atmosphere feels both grounding and gently transformative. And the food… absolutely wonderful. Thoughtfully prepared, nourishing, and full of flavor, it complements the entire experience beautifully. If I had known just how special Shambalanté is, I would have stayed a full week instead of just three days. Thank you to Doris, Ricardo, and the rest of the team. I will definitely be back."

"I loved everything about this place! The staff is incredible - especially Javier and Flor. The electricity and WiFi went out due to the thunderstorms but they had a generator and I appreciated being disconnected tbh."
