Hilton Garden Inn San Jose Airport City Mall

"Airport hotels usually feel like soulless places that are just there for airline crews, business travelers and people looking for convenience when they have an early flight, like we did. The Hilton Garden Inn was so much more! The lobby was welcoming and had a nice bar and lounge area, there was a great pool area, plus it was a quick 5 minute shuttle ride to SJO with a huge mall next door. The rooms were extra large and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Rather than feeling confined to the room, it was great to have the mall next door and the pool to choose from to kill some time while we were there. Highly recommend!"

"Staff was friendly, room was clean, refrigerator didn't seem to be working. There was no wash cloth called for some they took forever to bring them. was a bit disappointed the lady at the front told us Miyako was opened after we got dressed and came down to celebrate our anniversary dinner it was actually closed. Had to use the other restaurant which food was not bad but we were over dressed for the setting. Massage was not good would not recommend. We didn't do much there all our activity was off site but it was great to see my country flag 🇯🇲 among the others. But safety was key for me without a key elevator would not move and will only take you to the floor you stay."

"this property was very well maintained. The rooms were very spacious and the option of cooking made the dtay way more pleasant considering i was travelling with a picky eater. It is also close to a juice bar, pizza and other restaurants which were in walking distance. I would definitely recomend this hotel and when I visit Costa Rica again, this is where i will stay!"

"Everything was great, but we were expecting the swim up bar to be open, which was one of the reasons we booked with yall. Cookies awesome!!! Staff at desk and restaurant/bar excellent. Ate at the restaurant the food was delicious. Is there a time of the season when the swim up bar is closed?"

"One of the most beautiful places I've ever visited, truly magical. The room was modern, spotless, and incredibly well thought out. Most rooms have their own private patio, which was perfect for unwinding after a long day and just taking in the surroundings. One thing that really stood out was all the complimentary activities the hotel offers. You have the daily wildlife tour and the night animal tour, both of which were fantastic. There are plenty of other great activities as well. The hot springs are something else entirely — beautifully designed and unlike anything I've experienced before. I also loved that there was a cooler pool right next to them, complete with a slide for the kids. I had an amazing time here and genuinely hope to come back someday. Don't miss this one out!"
