Second time we stayed at this property Cabin is exceptional, clean and plenty of roomProperty is extremely quiet and nicely located to many restaurants . Host John is very good at communicating and quick to respond Definitely will be back
The place is much nicer than the pictures. Exclusive and expansive property with a real log home, outstanding front and back porches in a relaxing setting. We really enjoyed it.
What a great place to stay in a beautiful setting! The log home was perfect with plenty of beds and we had everything we needed. Met the owner and he's a great guy. Couldn't have asked for a better experience all around.
The home was clean and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful deck (no bugs) and hiking the trails around the property.
John was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had.
It is definitely a place we would like to return to for future family reunions.
We were all very pleased with the property. The house was very accommodating for 5 adults!
We enjoyed the deck and the porch for relaxing, the dining room table for eating and playing games, the kitchen for meal prep and coffee and the bedrooms for comfy sleeping.
The home was clean and well stocked right down to shampoo and soap.
We would highly recommend this property!
Quiet, relaxing cabin with wildlife all around. We felt safe. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony overlooking the water, sitting on the front porch, and around the fire pit. Abundance of birds, rabbits, deer, and many other animals for us to watch. All this, yet near restaurants, stores, and community activities. The property was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities that met our needs.
This was our 3rd straight Fourth of July Holiday at this amazing cabin on the Prairie River. Our whole family had a wonderfully relaxing weekend playing in the river, sitting on the hugh deck, and sitting around a camp fire in the evenings.
John was very accommodating and willing to change our dates for us. We will be back!
Everything was absolutely perfect. The home was spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed. The owners were very friendly and very communicable with us. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife fishing sitting outside campfires. It’s a wonderful place for Family!. And yes, we cannot wait to go back. It is also convenient to go to grocery stores, places to eat, and a great coffee shop.
We stayed here for three nights and traveled to a family reunion in Three Rivers daily. The cabin was a welcome refuge after long days of visiting in the heat. Only five adults stayed in the cabin, but it could accommodate 12 or more I would imagine. We have a lot of experience staying in VRBO‘s, in this one was well appointed throughout. Very well decorated, one of the best ever. It was super quiet, we didn’t even lock the car on nights two and three because it was so secluded and secure. If the reunion is in the same location next year, we might rent this cabin for three families instead of just our own.
This home is on beautiful property, just far enough from everything that you feel disconnected. There is wildlife EVERYWHERE! The property is described in the listing and John is MORE than willing to communicate and help you out if needed! 10/10! Hoping to bebacknext year!be back
This is one of the nicest and most peaceful places we have stayed in. We started every morning with coffee on the porch, listening to the brook that runs behind the home. Incredible well stocked. There was absolutely nothing else we needed. The owner was readily available. 4 bedrooms was more then adequate for our small family. I would highly recommend this property!
It was supposed to be a gathering of siblings and spouses each traveling from a couple hours away. A getaway for seven turned into a fun weekend for four. One missed because of illness. Two missed because of a family death the day we were supposed to stay. Owners were very sympathetic and understanding of the situation. The four who stayed had a good time and we hope to book again for a more complete siblings weekend.
It's the end of my husband's "Birthday Month," so I really wanted to surprise him with a quiet place where we could just chill from our busy schedules. This was the place! It was only the two of us, so we had tons of extra space that we never used. The property was well taken care of and very comfortable. It's the first time that we've been away for 4 or 5 days that my hubby didn't say he was ready to go home. In fact, he told me that he wished I would have booked it for a few more days. Loved the deer and other wildlife we saw while there. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. We definitely recommend staying here and we would certainly stay here again if we are ever in the area.
Our stay at the home was great. A beautiful and clean cabin right alongside the river. Secluded and cozy. I would definitely come back. Perfect for big groups. Check-in was a breeze & the host was attentive to any questions during the stay.
The property was very spacious and had great scenery. Deck overlooked the running creek and the place was located near plenty of stores and other places to check out. The renter was pretty friendly and gave us recommendations for fishing spots and such. Definitely recommend
Our family had a great time here, the setting is beautiful and so peaceful. The owners are great! They are very very friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was terrific.
