"I received the worst service, the worst cleanliness, the worst treatment, buy some of the dirtiest and unprofessional people I have ever met in life. I was kind to each in one of the Hilton gardening staff and tipped very very well yeah I was met with such opposition that I needed to cut my trip short. Because Expedia needed to know everything that was going on with proof, I risk my safety to produce those pictures. I will never do that again for companies who do not truly care about the service they provide or the customers who pay for them. This trip has made me wiser. "I chose the hotel because it was near a venue I was working at for the day, and knew I would be too tired to make the 2-hour drive home afterward. I arrived late, and despite having spent the time doing pre-check in online, I had to hang around the lobby to sign forms, including one about not smoking in the room. There was no parking in the front, so I had to move my car to a very poorly lit part of the parking lot, passing people standing outside smoking by the side entry, which was not locked. Finally walking to my room with my overnight bags, the hallway was full of cigarette smoke coming from rooms (remember, signing that form?). I got to the end where my room was, grateful to be out of the hall. The room was modest and clean enough, but clear signs of wear and tear. I attempted to sleep, but the noise of people coming in and out of rooms, letting their doors bang, went on for a couple of hours. Thin carpets and no sound proofing made it nearly impossible to sleep. The room did not have curtains but had blinds that left about an inch gap at the bottom that you could pull down no further, and there was a blinding light that came on from an industrial lot next door to the hotel that hit that gap just perfectly. Between the light and the noise, I barely got 3 hours sleep. Wanted to take a bath to relax. Alas, there was no stopper in the tub or bathroom area. The coffee machine was not cleaned and contained a used coffee filter. I left 3 hours earlier than planned, fed up. "

"Perfect for our family gathering. Clean and well stocked with kitchen amenities. Good communication with host and easy check in. It would have been nice to have had more low lamp lighting - especially in bedrooms - as opposed to bright overhead lights. Only one lamp in main living room worked but otherwise a very beautiful space. Would return again! "

"Sue & Manny were incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. I loved how they decorated the Rustic Barn for Christmas - made me feel like I was home when I couldn’t be during this time of year. They even went above and beyond with my dogs and would bring them up to play with their dogs - my dogs always wanted to go upstairs when we’d go for a walk when I got home from work! She would keep me updated on how the were doing during the day and send pictures - it was a real family feel! I am so grateful to have found the Rustic Barn with Sue and Manny, and for it to be my very first Vrbo experience ever! Thank you so much - we will be back!"
