Lamangata Luxury Surf Resort - All Inclusive

"Lamangata is a first class resort, with the highlights being the healthy delicious food, kind and attentive staff, luxurious room and extraordinary views. If you are a beginner or intermediate surfer, Lamangata is an excellent choice. I am a low intermediate level surfer and received helpful instruction. My wife is not a surfer, but enjoyed the hotel’s other offering such as yoga, pool and hiking. Initially, we were not sure if we would like the family style dining arrangement, but ended up thoroughly enjoying socializing with the other guests and kitchen staff. We highly recommend Lamangata and look forward to returning."

"El cuarto siempre lo mantuvieron limpio, el desayuno es estilo bufet y es muy rico, la comida en el restaurante del hotel es muy buena y con precios accesibles, la atención del personal es muy amable y enfocada en los huespedes, el Spa es demasiado bueno, es un punto alto en el hotel, los masajes son de otro nivel."

"Excellent colonial-style building with incredible natural surroundings, but the hotel looks neglected. The room was nice and spacious, but the bathroom smelled awful, like a sewer. I had to buy bleach and use it, but it didn't get rid of the smell. There was a leak in the sink and mold between the tiles and under the sink. I had to report it at the front desk, and they only provided one towel under after inspection. Also, the rooms didn't have air conditioning, and with the mosquitos, we couldn't open the windows. Honestly, it's a nice place, but it needs renovations asap. Otherwise, the staff's attention was very good, the restaurant had good service, typical Costa Rican food, the prices were somewhat high compared to the quality and quantity."

"We had an amazing trip and could not have stayed at a better property! The views were gorgeous, the staff was so helpful and the property has beautiful waterfalls that are not a hard hike to get to. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we’ll definitely be back and for a longer stay next time!"

"Increíble, espectacular solo les recomendaría dividir las cabañas en 2 tipos, las cabañas para gente con familias, hijos, perros y suegros 😂😂😂😂y otra sesión quizá las Villas Mountain View dejarlas únicamente para la parejas ya que mi esposo y yo fuimos en plan romántico sin hijos y en la cabaña de a la par colocaron a una familia con hijos que corrían y gritaban de un lado a otro."
