"The downstairs, where there were 3 bedrooms, smelled of mould and mildew. In the beds we found insects and we were bitten by the bugs. The whirlpool was downstairs in a dark dingy room. The house is in desperate need of repairs. Ants were everywhere in the house. The advertised outdoor pizza oven was filled with cigarette butts. The outdoor BBQ is tiny and filthy. To make matters worse we notified management of the problems only to be ignored and patronized. They were suppose to come and clean the property 3 times during the week and only showed up once. I do villa vacations several times a year and this is the worst experience ever. The only good thing about the villa is the location. "
Rome: Villa in the countryside very close to Rome with private pool
10/10 Excellent
"Stunning property to stay at. Plenty of room for everyone, but I feel like we did not take advantage of all of the amenities! The pool is lovely, the olive gardens make a beautiful backdrop for the Instagram worthy pictures that my daughter and her friends took before we went to a wedding. A bit tricky to get around without a car, but the property manager had given me the name of a taxi service and they were great."
"We needed to accommodate 5 people and the room was all the way up on the 4th floor. To their standards the first floor is level 0. There is no elevator and my mom fell on the stairs because their lights on the 3rd to 4th floor shuts off too soon. The light will not turn back on until in front of the room door. Also our bed broke. It appears the boards were taped up before in an attempt to repair. We had to wait two days before it was fixed. We were only able to speak with one person that spoke English at the time of the check in. I was unable to complain to anyone due to lack of communication. My husband was also very annoyed a the tiny boxed shower even though he is a slender man. Needless to say I had to creep in sideways to slide through the doors. Staff was overall very nice especially at breakfast. The male server is a gem. Understood half of what he said but very sweet. "
Spacious villa with private pool Rome 20 minutes away overlooking national park
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing place - quiet little village/town but super close for popping to Rome. Lovely house, Kate and George were only to happy to help and at the end of a “WhatsApp” if needed. Pool was one of the cleanest we’ve had! "
Luxe Roman Villa 25 minutes away from Rome | POOL, TENNIS COURT, FOOTBALL
10/10 Excellent
"A fantastic property, both inside and out. The outdoor dining and living area was great and well used. Pool and tennis court on superb condition. The centre of Rome was easily accessible using the punctual trains. Check-in process was so smooth and property full of the essentials that you often have to source yourself. We had a great holoday using this lovely villa as our base. We hope to return very soon!"
