The hotel's greatest asset is its location. Walking just two or three blocks in either direction brings you to the sea. To the right, you'll find beautiful beaches as well as an excellent restaurant with delicious food and a genuinely friendly staff.
Because this is a boutique hotel, guest services are somewhat limited. The front desk was not staffed on weekends, and even during the week, staff members were only available at certain times. Fortunately, Amina, who oversees maintenance, was incredibly helpful and shared useful local and cultural recommendations that enhanced my stay.
Upon arrival, I noticed a strong air freshener throughout the hotel. Later, I realized it appeared to be masking a persistent musty or mold-like odor in parts of the building. From what I understand, humidity and moisture can be an ongoing challenge in some Mediterranean coastal areas, so this may not be unique to this property.
My room also had the same air-freshener scent, but it was impeccably clean. The towels and bedding were spotless, and the room itself was well maintained. The only drawback was the shower, which was quite small. A larger person might find it difficult to get in and out comfortably. Although the cleanliness was excellent, the underlying musty odor was still noticeable. Guests with asthma, allergies, or other respiratory conditions may wish to take this into consideration, as musty or mold-related odors can aggravate symptoms in some individuals.
Overall, this hotel is a good
