"Breakfast was not good and very restricted!"

"We knew the AC was not working during our stay but we didn’t count on the heater being on on our level hallways or the restroom area in our room (even though the thermostat said on). When we checked in our room felt like a sauna, luckily they had fans and were able to unlock the windows to let out the warmness. The water temperature in the shower kept changing from warm to extra hot and then cold. Front desk staff was average. We loved the location of the hotel. "

"Some staff are dishonest, I booked my room well in advance- LAKESIDE, I’m on a health retreat, calm view to reduce my stress- terminal cancer, yet moved to a 360 view of the parking lot in spite of being a loyal guest with low demand. I love the lodge, I did get good pricing on some of my days, I was here when they were empty, endured construction and I was moved around every few days until they unloaded the “burden” of an old lady trying to have a serene send off… "

"We had a really nice time. Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms, decent amenities for the price. Can’t complain about free breakfast! Would like the pool a bit cleaner, but wasn’t bad at all. "

"A little Old but very well maintained cabin, everything was very clean and everything worked well. Everything was as advertised and listed. We had no issues and Definitely would rent it again. "

"The home was covered in rodent feces when we arrived. All over the kitchen, including in the drawers, countertops, cooktop and inside the toaster. Every bed had droppings on the covers, inside the sheets and on top of pillows. The living room had droppings on the couches. There was also long hair in the sheets, and some food stuck to the dining table. We contacted the property management company immediately upon arrival (4:55pm) and were promised someone would be there within 45 minutes to assess the situation and either deep clean or move us to another rental. No one ever called, no one ever came. We called 3 times and by 10pm gave up and had to go to the store to purchase our own cleaning supplies (the cabin has absolutely no supplies whatsoever) and were up until 2am washing sheets, quilts and scrubbing all living areas. We had to be at an event at 7am so this was extremely stressful. Upon departure, we still never heard from the host, we sent many photos showing the infestation issues and no reply was ever given. We were unable to cook any meals in the cabin due to everything being contaminated which added additional cost to the trip, along with the cleaning supplies purchased. We live full time in the mountains, I understand that sometimes these things can happen- what is not acceptable is being ghosted by the property management company when the place is uninhabitable without massive cleaning. Hopefully the homeowner finds a new company to manage their property!"
