Not a short stroll as advertised - it’s in the middle of an estate (not so nice ) Make you pay £££ deposit or no check in details Make you sign this ridiculous document also to say if they had to take deposit off you because of damage- you can’t leave them a negative review! "Gorgeous self contained studio. My boys (aged 5 and 9) loved the built in bunk beds, and the fact they could collect fresh eggs and feed all the animals. Shaun and Angelica were so friendly, accomodated an earlier check in, and gave the boys plenty of animal feed! Only a 10min drive from Windsor Castle and Legoland, so perfect for our trip! The boys are already asking when we can return again! "

"Admittedly we messed up on the process for self checking as we were confused by Hotels confirmation of our booking, However, we had no communication with the property owner between February when we made the booking and paid in full to the 72hrs before we were arriving. We notified the owner that we were travelling from Australia, provided flight details and an ETA for checking to the apartments. This was not acknowledged and we had no communication at all with the property. Even when we realised our error and rang, texted and messaged through hotels, we got no response. The lesson for us is to check the fine print on the booking and also not to rely on Hotels confirmation emails. Disappointed at the lack of communication and this makes it hard to see things in a favourable way."

"The proximity to Windsor town centre was excellent !The accommodation was clean and the host responsive and helpful. The property was a little tired and the bathrooms would definitely benefit from a refit. We had trouble keeping the water in the shower area and my elderly aunt who traveled with us had difficulty getting into the bath to use the shower which was over it. There were no handles to aid this at all. She is not in any way disabled but a slippery bath was a concern. I also think more comfortable seating would have been nice and matching cutlery and crockery etc. excellent location though. One final thing was the tricky lock to enter the property perhaps a change of lock cylinder would make a difference."

"Our host was accommodating he let us check in early and bought a new dinner set the next day when I alerted him. I liked the fact that parking came included and it was centrally located. We did have a few problems such as the excess dust and dirt under the sofa, the uncomfortable bed, the linen that really needs changing (it’s been washed too many times) and the dishwasher wasn’t functioning. "
