"While the property needs updating, the price was great and, it wasn’t the staff that made it enjoyable, it was the people who are regular visitors, who took the time to show me around and chat by the awesome fire in the lobby. The outdoor pool looked like it needed to be cleaned, but it was a very nice treat on a cold winter day!"

"What an incredible house! We were expecting an old farmhouse, but what we found really blew away our expectations. The Homestead is meticulously maintained, thoughtfully, appointed, and lovingly filled with books, antiques, art, and comfortable places to lounge and hang out. There’s a lot to discover as you wander through the different sitting areas and nooks. The bedrooms are comfortable, the showers are great. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. One of my favorite moments was doing yoga on the mat provided as I gazed out on the grazing cows. Communication with the hosts was terrific, they checked in and were extremely helpful about how things in the house worked as well as where to get groceries and where to grab a good dinner. Awesome place for a family, a couple families vacationing together or a group of friends. Less than 10 minutes and you’re in downtown Woodstock. Would highly recommend and would stay again! "

"This was a great place for us to stay during our ski trip. We hit a few different mountains and this was centrally located for us. The house is well laid out, fireplace and pool table were a bonus. Hosts were easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again. "

"I absolutely loved the place. I’ve rented a variety of homes in Vermont to go skiing and this had to be my best experience. It’s a remote home and the front stairs can be challenging to go up and down due the snow but what a beautiful place with all the charm of a home deep in the winter beauty of Vermont."
