"The hotel is perfectly situated to what we like downtown. Every staff member was helpful & nice. We stayed in suite 3D. The King bed is very comfortable. The American Leather pullout is very comfortable (our son slept on it). We were going to bring our dog, they even had a bed and bowls for him, but our plans changed. The turndown service is nice to get new towels after being out a shower and clean towels are appreciated. The shops in and around the property are fun. The landscaping and courtyard are lovely. The new American Park nearby is great. Save room for brunch (12-3 make a reservation) in the Palmetto room on Sunday (we were too full after our Sat meals) it looked amazing tomahawk steaks, pastries, etc. One issue is there's a separate door to the toilet from the sink area, I felt like you had to back up into the toilet to close the door. But a door to the toilet is always appreciated."

If we were to be super critical - why Molton Brown toiletries???… go local! Perhaps it’s because we are English and it was a surprise/shame to not have a local brand in place…also amenities kit (cotton pads, ear buds) missing from the room, this is a basic provision."
