Great spot for the main trail

Very clean and comfortable hotel to stay at to before or after hiking the main trail. The staff were lovey and the food good.

The hotel was our base for 4 days while walking the Snowies Alpine trail. It was basic but had comfortable beds, good showers and reasonable space. The balcony wasn’t accessible because it was in need of serious renovation. The food in the restaurant was just OK (it was the only place open for food in the village at the time we were there).

We had everything we needed to complete the Snowy Alpine Trail at Stillwell. A comfy bed and a warm shower at the end of the trail each day. The food was good considering we stayed out of snow season and there was only one person in the kitchen. The salad was fresh and chicken cooked well. Only a few meals available but they were cooked well. Staff were lovely at all times. Wine and beer was cold! Highly recommend Stillwell for being handy to walk the trails nearby.

Seniors Kosiosko Trip

Stayed here with 3 other couples during summer as a base to hike Mt Kosciosko. Friendly, courteous staff who made our stay enjoyable. While only partly occupied as not yet winter, the hotel was well maintained, clean and all services were quite functional.

Incredible value in early summer

While the room is quite basic, it was very clean, bright, comfortable and cheerful, with some lovely views. Location is very convenient for nearby walks. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The December room rate is great value. The restaurant has convenient hours.

Great summer hiking base

This is the perfect location for a hiker- right at the start of some of the Snowy Mountains most beautiful walks. The hotel has comfortable beds and the rooms are a good size. The hotel restaurant offers basic pizza Mexican dinners/ lunch and can provide a packed lunch.The schnitzel burger was good! The rooms could do with bedside lamps and a bar fridge but are value fit money. We’ll be back to do more hiking!!!

The property itself is awesome, but its far from Perisher and you can’t take your car there, you have to leave your car in Bulloks Flat take a train to Perisher which cost you $100 per person which is crazy, and from there oversnow Transport to the hotel, when you arrive to the hotel the Staff are very nice the hotel is clean and perfect.

Good location to the top of Australia. Only hotel operating during summer so choices are limited. Staff are pleasant and very busy - only 2 on deck. Room - no RV, no air. Water over treated. Mexican food only to eat Budget hotel. Don’t expect anything more and you will be ok

Love how it’s at a good distance from the slopes but the wifi is hopeless which is where it stops me won’t be staying there again as the wifi is horrendous and there is no signal love that there was a spa and gym but no tv in room and no fridge in room makes it hard to feel comfortable had to rely on the restaurant which has great service but little to no entertainment.

I tried cancelling this reservation weeks ago - I waited on hold for over 45 minutes twice to the hotel ( as no one was answering ) only to be told that i had to talk to wotif. Then wotif person told me that they can’t contact the hotel

Not recommended. Couldn’t contact the hotel at all. Very inconvenient. You could not drive to the hotel as they doesn’t allow staying overnight, forcing customers to pay for expensive and time consuming transport.

Great location in National Park. Had to pay 17 dollar a day park fees. Great walks in summer around mountains. Limited close parking. Rooms are on four levels up stairs no lifts. Not good for elderly. It is 30 kilometres to grocery store or restaurant. During summer could buy breakfast and lunch at hotel, but no dinner.
