"A beautifully furnished and comfortable gite with a very relaxing ambience.The private pool and garden were much appreciated. The welcome from the owners was warm.The gite has been imaginatively created out of the ownersâ larger house. We settled into a routine of how to manage the split facilities for catering but this might be a challenge for some as there are stairs involved.Many thanks for a wonderful week."

"Cour Cheveney was a lovely place. Restaurants, boulangerie, boucherie, small local grocery store. The Gite is located at the end of the village which is lovely & quiet.Great outdoor space. The Gite itself is of a typical traditional Gite size. It had an open plan kitchen/living space/dining area and was fine for family of 4. Kitchen was suitably equipped. Shower was great. WiFi was easy to connect to. Good location. 2 great meals out. LâPinnocchoo and Les Trois Marchands, great staff in both. Would recommend the Gite and would return if in the area."

"Overall property was as advertised, 2 of the beds were kids beds so for 5 adult men it wasnt great. Location is not as listed but further down close to the neighborhing campsite. On the day we arrived (we arrive very late around midnight) we tried to call the owner but he did not pick up and later said he had sent an email to let us know he was there (which I never received). We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the property, it was clear that it has not been deep cleaned in a while. The wifi was not working and when mentioned to the owner he said it wasn't the first time and told us to go the campsite next door (He made no attempt to fix it). However, the area is beautiful, the yard is spacious and if you're looking to visit the neighbouring castles it is a great location. The neighbouring campsite is easily accessible and has good drinks"
"From the moment you arrive the service is impeccable. Our room was clean, spacious, charming and so peaceful with a serene view. We had breakfast and dinner each day and both were outstanding. Excellent location close to vineyards, Blois and Orleans. Bike or take a run on the beautiful grounds or take a peaceful walk through the Forrest. Perfect for dog lovers. Book early for the spa as it is so well done with a variety of excellent services. Donât forget to save room in your suitcase for local wine, honey and Caudalie!"
