"Considering it is a place out in the country, with no stores or cafes nearby. I believe there should be some coffee/tea and especially water in the rooms. It was a very warm few days (over 90 degrees F/30 degrees C) and there was no water provided, and there were no glasses in the bathroom. The internet does not work well and I had to teach an online class which could not happen. Do not expect to connect to the internet.

A bit of an issue getting the right entrance (for anyone reading this, there are 2 enterances and you need the right one and may be told the wrong one!), but once all sorted, the appartment was perfect and in a great locations. Very modern, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend."

"Our stay at one of the âgitesâ of Chateau la Gontrie was just wonderful. The cottage is spacious and was spotless when we arrived. The setting is beautiful. Andrea and her father welcomed us and provided us with plenty of ideas for activities in the area that would be enjoyable with our son. The village, about 20 minutes drive from the city of Bordeaux, is lovely as well. Itâs a great find!"
"This hotel is the best i have stayed in receptionist couldn't help us enough restaurant was not opened the night we arrived but he told us where the nearest place was to eat about four minute walk the food was lovely and so was the staff so friendly we booked a hotel room but when we got there they said we have put you in a apartment across the road we have a dog it was heaven for all of us so much room lovely places to walk the dog breakfast next morning absolutely fabulous staff was attentive making sure we had everything we needed best continental breakfast by far in france location not far from motorway cant say how much i love this place "

"We spent a wonderful week at the chateau. Even the rain on our first day couldnât dampen our excitement and enjoyment of the property. The sun came out allowing us to make full use of everything the chateau has to offer. The pool and the grounds are beautiful. The dreamy interior fulfilled all of our expectations. Our hosts were so attentive and kind. Thank you for such a memorable holiday"

"We had a great 2 night stay and wished we had a few more days to spend here. We loved the tour of the vineyards and learning about the old school wine production, enjoyed the tastings and learning about clairet! and we thoroughly enjoyed hearing all the stories.
The property was clean, kitchen was well appointed, check in and check out was smooth. There are a number of units on the propertyand would be a great base for large family gatherings.
With only a couple days in the area, we were grateful for all the suggestions. We highly recommend checking out Pizzella in Cambes for artisanal pizza along the Garonne River :)
