Good, out of town hotel

Hotel was clean and fresh. Next door to diners, so very easy. Also very close to major routes out of Cherbourg.

Comfortable reasonable for price

Comfortable room, unfortunately on loud road which cannot be helped. Spacious bathroom. Large bed. Receptionist did try and get us to pay again but eventually accepted we had paid. Did not have the breakfast so cannot comment. Conveniently near several restaurants and large supermarket.

We did not like this hotel at all. There was a lot of noise as the hotel did not have AC so we had to leave the window open. The room was very dirty and small. We do not recommend this hotel.

Value for money Hotel in Cherbourg

Hoyel was good value for money, good rooms, good breakfast. Our only problem was trying to book in when reception was unmanned. Very complicated and card reader failed when we finally got auto check in to work. Fortunately the receptionist arrive and book the rest if my party on.

All as i was expecting from the hotel but reception not attended so need to gain a passcode from the machine outside of the building. Digits on keypad need pressing hard as didnt work first few attempts

Could not get the payment to go through st self checkin. Rung the helpline numerous times with little assistance. Kept saying try again. Another family arrived and the same happened to them. Got into room after a hour, which did not look like the picture on the website. Then manager had to come to our room to take payment. Very poor service. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

Déception. Je n'attendais pas un service Palace mais au moins que la chambre soit dans un bon état... Douche qui fuit, toutes les touches de la télécommande effacées, et le pire porte qui ne ferme pas à clé, qui ne se clanche qu'en forçant. Petit déjeuner médiocre.

A mon arrivĂ©e Ă  21H30, plus d'accueil physique. Et je n'avais pas eu communication de mon code d'accĂšs. J'ai essayĂ© avec mon numĂ©ro de voyage mais sans succĂšs. Heureusement, il y avait un interphone oĂč j'ai pu avec quelques minutes d'attente obtenir mon code d'accĂšs Ă  rentrer avec prĂ©caution. AprĂšs 30 minutes, j'ai pu accĂ©der Ă  ma chambre...oĂč il y rĂ©gnait une trĂšs forte odeur de tabac malgrĂ© la fenĂȘtre restĂ©e entrouverte. J'ai passĂ© la nuit dans cette chambre et mes vĂȘtements mĂȘmes non-portĂ©s ont Ă©tĂ© imprĂ©gnĂ©s de cette odeur.
