It is the quirkiest hotel I have stayed in the decor is amazing a hidden surprise round every corner it’s a case of Alice in Wonderland meets Roald Dahal. The staff are friendly and helpful the experience only enhanced our visit to Chester. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will certainly return

What a delightful hotel - the staff were incredible, welcoming and helpful. We had an issue with our booking, which was no fault of the hotel, but they proposed a great solution, and were ever so accommodating. The hotel itself is great - quirky and original, fantastic "secret garden" lots of lovely little nooks and crannies to eat and drink, very comfortable and well appointed rooms and a great location. We also ate in the restaurant which was also very good. Can't recommend enough for your next stay in Chester.

Nice looking hotel with a quirky feature, deco is nice so the garden area, BUT! Important bit which is the mattress and pillows are so bad. Mattress is too soft and could hit the floor if you sit on the edge. Pillows are lumpy, you know I mean by lumpy. Breakfast was nice, huge breakfast

The hotel was clean and in good shape. The room was perfect apart from the toilet being behind the shower cubicle but that was my fault for booking this room style. It felt quite exposed even with the glass door shut. Great stay and in ideal location.

Glad we chose this place. Lovely room and in a good location. More interesting than many hotels. Over a noisy bar, so not the best choice if you want an early night at the weekend, but otherwise highly recommend.

Great stay with Oddfellows, stayed in the apartment which is 5min down the road and turn left pass the Crosskey pub on the corner right to the end where there is a place with ‘Oddfellows’ on it, it came with parking aswell in the courtyard which was great! Very central but quiet enough at night by the apartment which was ideal, would definitely stay again.

Great location and proximity to shopping, eating and drinking. Great team in reception and the bar area, nothing was too much trouble for anyone, big smiles and laughs from everyone. Really unique quirky room that was comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. We’ll definitely be back.
