The staff were excellent, very attentive, breakfast was 1st class. Our room was fine but being so close to the bar/ resteraunt it was a bit noisy and often filled with a strong smell of cooking!
Welcoming at reception, room was pleasant, clean and modern. Unfortunately I think it was next to the toilets from the pub/ restaurant so was noisy until quite late. The room was warm and when I opened window the beer garden has piped music so had that to contend with as well. Breakfast was included and service was good. Unlikely to be back now if I’m honest.
There were no cocktails to be had At All ! The pillows need changing as they are like bricks and the Showers need a shower mat as it becomes very, very slippery.
This is a shame, because everything else was Great.
I have stayed here many times and never had any faults the rooms are very clean and all on ground level a private door into the pup and the meals are excellent with a good choice, breakfast is super , hotel is off the main road so is very quiet
Delighted with the hotel and the restaurant.
This time my wife and I did not have our usual companion, our Border Terrier with us as we had been attending a wedding. We would love to use the hotel again, but. as there is a no pets policy, then this unlikely to happen.
The refurbished bathroom with walk in shower was excellent with one little fault - the rain shower head really needs to extend further into the shower cubicle!
The service was amazing, the food at the pub was great (especially the lemon meringue cheesecake!), the only thing that really let this place down was the rock hard bed. I have osteoarthritis in my hip and he’s beds equals chronic pain and zero sleep for me. Such a shame as everything about the stay was perfect!
Clean and pleasant enough, warm weather could have done with a fan in the room.
Had to order breakfast at check in which I always find a little strange.
