Only stayed for one night. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room had everything you require tea and coffee etc. Hairdryer TV very clean . We didn't eat in the bar but menu looked very good.

Room was very spacious, comfortable lighting options, and a generous bed providing a great nights sleep. Wifi quite poor but strong signal meant I could use my phone. I’d stay again.

I was a bit hesitant staying at a Marston hotel due to previous experience bit this property restored that. Staff from outset were welcoming and the rooms was better than expected. Food in the restaurant was amazing. Overall the 2 day stay was well worth it. Would deffently stay here again.

Lovely and central for everything we wanted to do. Good sized room with everything we needed however the rooms REALLY need soundproofing. Could hear next doors normal level conversation word for word! Breakfast was a bit disappointing; our order for cooked breakfast and tea was taken but no cereal offered before it arrived; no continental offered either and the lady serving had disappeared so couldn’t ask for it. Considering this was included in the price and we were off out for the day so ideally wanted a good breakfast to keep us going this was a shame. We have never had this problem at any other Marstons and decided to have breakfast out for the rest of our stay. Evening meals were very good, great service, great staff and very good meal choice.

All staff alike were very nice, and a credit to the hotel an restaurant, couldn’t help enough for you, lovely clean room, everything you need in it, meals an breakfast very good, all in all had a fabulous stay, would definitely stay here again and highly recommend

A nice place to stay

We like staying here when we can as we visit chesterfield quite regularly, however our stays are based on price over anything else due to how many times we come up. The rooms are clean and tidy , the staff have always been friendly and helpful and the bar and restaurant is a nice place to be Food was good and great value I will look out for deals for future trips
