Good distance to Soldier Field, friendly staff. Extremely run down. Elevator - loud, shaky, small. Furniture broken, had to use band aids to hold a drawer shut on nightstand otherwise it was open at all times. Needed to get our fridge replaced night one. The shower curtain was too small so water leaked all over the bathroom and into the room on the carpet which was damp throughout our stay. The tub faucet did not work properly so you had to turn the handle for an undetermined amount of time until you finally had water or it finally turned off. The fan in the bathroom did not work so it was very damp in there. The air conditioning was so inconsistent the room temperature was either like an ice box or a sauna. Beds, pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The light inside the door made a loud noise and flickered multiple times every time we turned it on. We did call about a couple issues night one and they addressed them but the number of problems that continued to pop up was so overwhelming. Add into this factor the dank and dreary, chipped up paint everywhere in the building and the musty smell it just was too much to try to run from. This hotel was so overpriced and so miserable. I would not recommend a stay here.
