Worst “Attempted” & DENIED Check in experience. I contacted the hotel the morning of my reservation to let them know I’d be arriving very late/early morning of the next day, due to a 13 hour drive. I was told by the staff who took my call that would not be a problem, that I could check in at any time during my reservation time. When I arrived at 3:30am, I was treated with the most disrespect & rude welcome I have ever experienced at any hotel/motel. The condescending attitude as if to say, “How dare you show up at this hour!”, the employee working the check in counter advised me the only way she’d check me in is if I paid for an ADDITIONAL night’s stay & even at that I’d have to wait at least 30 minutes because she was in the middle of closing out the previous days transactions. It was the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. I would never stay or recommend this Marriott property, based 100% on how I was treated & spoken to. I believe when working in the Hospitality industry, more care & compassion should be shown to customers.
