Second visit to this property. The first was 5 stars all around. Now, 18 months later, it seems as if the property needs a refresh--and appears to be getting one. Our room was clean but a bit cramped and frayed. Mattress needed to be replaced (my wife and I seemed to be rolling toward the middle). Breakfast was fine. Supplies were plentiful despite a crew of hungry teens (and families) from a sports team beating us and (temporarily) occupying most of the area. I like the location: just off the Interstate and close to our final destination. I'll try again in a few months, hoping remodeling is completed.

The hotel is clearly being renovated. Floor tiles in the lobby were broken and missing and clearly a hazard until they are replaced. The rooms are only serviced every other day but you are not told and towels and such had best not need replacing or you will have to shake yourself dry😀. The jets in the bathtub were caked in unidentifiable junk so skip using it as a jacuzzi. A sickly sweet smell permeates the lobby during breakfast there likely from batter used to make waffles and such, so we left and went to a wonderful local cafe named Libby’s. Basically, the cost for what it offers is way out of line.
