Home in the Historic Town of Pullman
Let us welcome you to Chicago's first national park--Pullman National Monument established in 2015. Guests will stay in a restored1885 Skilled Worker's Row House. Home includes 3 bedrooms (1 queen, and 2 twin beds), living room, bathroom with shower and kitchen that includes a stove, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave, dishes and utensils. All you need are groceries. The Pullman Coffee Shop, Walmart, Potbelly's, Culver's, Lexington Betty's Smokehouse, Wing Stop, Shorty's Mexican Grill, McDonald's, among others are within 5 minutes of the home. There is adequate street parking. and guests are minutes away from the Metra Electric commuter rail line (115th Street Station--Kensington), CTA Bus line (111th Pullman route) and the Bishop Ford and Dan Ryan expressways. Access to the property is maintained by a digital keypad. A code will be provided. Upon departure the property will be inspected, inventoried and cleaned. The garage is not available for use. Guests should use street parking. This is a pet-free environment. We understand that pets are part of the family, for the comfort of guests, we have a strict no pet policy. Guests have access to the main and second floor of the home only. There is no access to the basement/storage area.
Nearly 1,000 of the town's original rowhouses and several major buildings and spaces are still intact and in various stages of restoration. As a community with pride and commitment to the district's heritage, we welcome you to your home away from home and an opportunity to learn more about the historic Pullman neighborhood we call home.
