"Rooms are well decorated in country cosy chic decor. The food is delicious and what you expect from a country pub. Staff are welcoming, friendly and always happy to help. Particular shoutout to Alana who’s been there every time I’ve visited for the past 4 years and made every stay feel personal. Keep up the great work team. This is a true hidden gem place to stay & eat."

"Whole stay was good value for money. Room was clean and tidy with a good breakfast. Staff polite and helpful. The only one thing was a little disappointed about was I was told they close at 11pm to find when I got back from Ocltoberfest at 10:35 they had closed the bar and I could not get a last drink before bed."

"My brief stay was wonderful and would certainly stay there again. Only tiny downside is top bedroom has an adjacent shower room rather than en-suite but a very minor issue considering the positives of welcoming hosts , quiet location with a short pretty walk (20mins) to beach and having loverly breakfast on outside porch."

"I stayed 4 nights and my room was not serviced properly. I had to get them to make my bed after I retuned daily. I cannot understand why this was not done. I did not go on a bus mans holiday to make beds I do that at home. The food was very good at breakfast. My room was well used. Toilet seat would not stay up and blind needed replacing. I was in room 2."
